Comfort and luxury with the best view in Blue River! 10 mins to Breckenridge
Nestled away in the most elevated position in Blue River, offering simply the best view of Quandary Peak, with 1.2 million acres of National Forest directly accessed from the back gate, our wonderful home with private hot tub has 1/2 an acre fully enclosed and child/pet friendly, 10 minutes from main street Breckenridge. High spec amenities, custom furniture and luxury decor create the perfect combination of mountain retreat and home from home. The free bus service into Breck is less than a mile away and hiking to the summit of Red Mountain is direct from the house where you have more chance of seeing elk than other humans! Regular visitors include chipmunks and Marvin the Moose! The open plan living space is light and airy and offers a great space with new comfortable couches, wood fireplace and bespoke dining table. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you may need. Use the provided binoculars to watch hikers summit Breckenridge's nearest 14er - Quandary Peak or put your boots on and go join them with the trailhead very close nearby. 1 king bedroom with en-suite bathroom, 1 Queen bedroom and 1 room with twin bunk and additional twin. 2 full bathrooms, with master en-suite including double jacuzzi tub. The large deck with gas bbq and gas fire table provides the perfect spot to watch the sunset over Quandary peak. Ample parking for up to 3 cars inside the gated entrance with access to a garage for storage of bikes, skis etc.
The roads and drive way are plowed but a 4x4 will be needed in the winter months as the drive is steep.
Cell reception is typically bad in the area. We have a private 4g booster which provides cell service within the house. Note: Part of the 1st floor is locked off for owners use.

Perfect Mountain Getaway!
We had a wonderful stay at Nathan and Sarah's cabin in Breckenridge. The photos are great but the house is even more beautiful in person and the home seemed to have everything you would need for a vacation. From the wood burning stove to the hot tub and the amazing views from the living room window we really couldn't have asked for a better place to spend a few days. Sarah and Nathan were so kind and responsive leading up to and during our stay. This is a place we hope to return to again!

Magnificent
We had a wonderful time
staying in this beautiful clean and comfortable home with magnificent views of Quandry Peak. Spent the days hiking nearby trails and evenings soaking in the hot tub, cooking and playing games. Very clean and comfortable. Would recommend adding one additional tv in kids bunk room so the adults could enjoy some tv time too. Looking forward to returning

A perfect week!
This property was absolutely amazing! The house was very clean, well-kept and well organized. Unbelievable views from both the front and the back! The kitchen is very well appointed and had everything we needed for our weeklong stay! Plenty of room for our group of four. Our dogs absolutely loved the backyard and hiking on the trail up the mountain through the back gate. Sarah was very responsive, and a great host. She got back to us quickly on any questions that we had. This is a very special location it feels homey, comfortable and serene! It is close enough to Breckenridge to easily and quickly get to all the attractions, while being separated enough for a very relaxing, enjoyable, easy-going vacation! We highly recommend this property and will definitely be back!

good and smelly
We found the house with no difficulty. The house was very comfortable, parking a little tight, accommodated our 2 cars.
Shortly after arriving I started messaging the owner and got a very quick reply. In the reply was information regarding the septic system, "we have been having septic tank issues for the past few weeks. The pipes are frozen and therefore the tank isn't emptying as it should. This won't affect your stay in any way but if we could perhaps ask you to be mindful of water use that would be really helpful." We didn't have any issues the first night we were there but by the second night the smell was so bad I could not sleep in the downstairs bedroom. The smell came and went over our stay. Needless to say, it was not a pleasant experience. The owner was upset that this was an issue but told me it was "one of those mountain life situations." The fact that the owner knew there was a problem and did not take care of it before our arrival and didn't say anything until after we got there was unacceptable to us. We will not be going back.

Beautiful home just outside town of Breckenridge
We loved our stay at Nathan and Sarah’s home. It was perfect for our two couples ( we didn’t need the third bedroom with bunk beds). Sarah was very responsive when I had a few questions as well. Would highly recommend.

Perfect Long Weekend
The house was great, directions and instructions were spot on. Only thing I messed up was not taking a screen shot of the check in instructions because, once we got to the house, we lost cell service. HA! We had to drive back to town where we had service, take the screen shot and go back up. I should have known better too on account of, I'm a CO native. Anyhow, the house was great, huge, loved the wood burning fireplace and the hot tub! And Sarah was phenomenal! Her communication was super fast! Thanks again for lending us your home!

Excellent mountain home experience
Sarah and Nathan’s Breckenridge home is amazing. It was exceptionally clean, well decorated, and felt like a home away from home. The close access to the forest through the back gate was very convenient. The view out the front window was beautiful. We would gladly stay here again when visiting Breckenridge.
If you’re coming during the winter, be sure to have a heavy 4-wheel drive vehicle. Our lighter 4wd vehicle we had slipped a bit while coming up the driveway. Our heavier vehicle did just fine.

We are originally from the UK and moved to Colorado in 2018. Quickly we found that most weekend were spent travelling to the mountains from the suburbs and we decided to find a home to split our time between the two. Sarah and I love the outdoor life, be it biking, skiing, hiking or running competitively in the mountains and we're lucky enough to have 2 young kids who are growing up to love the same.
Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft
We really wanted somewhere that had all the amenities of being able to live day to day but embracing the mountain life. Privacy, access to trails and incredible views were the main reasons we fell in love with the house. The opportunity for our kids to play outside, be closer to nature whilst still in a relatively safe environment with such close access to breckenridge for skiing and all it's other great amenities meant we couldn't pass up the opportunity to purchase this house! We looked at Blue River for a while and the house is almost unique with it's views of Quandary, all day light and the amazing private access to the National Forest behind.

The view is unrivalled and we really mean that! Hiking, snowshoeing, back country skiing right out the back gate - this is insane - you see no-one and can summit red mountain (13,300ish ft) straight out the back and access the continental divide.
