Escape to our "Custom Rustic Home", a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home offering breathtaking hill country views. Large windows throughout allow the beauty of the outdoors to flow inside, creating a peaceful atmosphere. This home is designed for an easy and relaxing getaway, with many essential amenities provided for your comfort. The fully equipped kitchen includes essentials for cooking and dining. Bath towels, hot tub towels, kitchen towels, and bed linen are also provided and there's a convenient laundry room located on the first floor. The spacious yard features a swing set, fire pit, ladder ball, cornhole, and a disc golf basket for endless outdoor fun. Inside, enjoy a game of foosball or small games like Jenga and checkers. After a day of exploring the beautiful Texas Hill Country, unwind on the back deck or relax in the hot tub. Keep an eye out for local wildlife, as foxes, deer, and various birds are often spotted in the mornings and evenings.

During your stay, you'll have exclusive use of the Custom Rustic Home, the hot tub on the back deck, fire pit (closed during burn bans), swing set, hammock, and propane BBQ grill (with propane provided). The home features a large circular driveway, with the left entrance shared with the neighboring tiny house. After entering the left gate, the driveway splits, giving each home its own designated driveway and parking area. On our 5-acre property, the Custom Rustic Home sits on about 1½ acres reserved just for its guests, while the neighboring tiny home has roughly ¾ of an acre designated for its guests. The remaining 2¾ acres is natural, wooded land, giving the property a peaceful, rustic feel. Although the homes are visible to one another, they are about 150–200 feet apart.
The faux wood stove "fireplace" features battery-operated, remote-controlled candles. Please note, it is not a real fireplace, so no actual fire is allowed.
Please note that while the refrigerator includes a water dispenser and ice maker, these features are not functional. But no worries, we’ve got you covered! A Brita pitcher is provided in the fridge for filtered, chilled water, along with ice cube trays in the freezer.
To ensure the best upkeep of the hot tub, our spa maintenance company cleans and balances it every Tuesday and Friday, even during your stay. During holiday weeks, the cleaning schedule may be adjusted to avoid coinciding with the holiday itself. We also vacuum and net the hot tub between every stay.
My family and I live in Montgomery, TX, and a few times a year we stay at the home next door when we're in Canyon Lake. We respect our guests' privacy and keep to ourselves during our visits..
We have a couple of cameras on the property that monitor the driveway and yard. We take our guests' privacy very seriously, and no cameras are located or directed inside the home, back decks, or hot tub areas. The cameras only monitor the driveway and front door.
For accurate price quotes, please enter your exact dates and the correct number of guests. The 'Booker'/Primary Guest must be at least 25 years old, and must also be a guest staying at the property. Proof of age or identity may be requested. For stays of 7+ days, an additional cleaning fee may apply.

I discovered Canyon Lake in 2011 and quickly fell in love with it's clear turquoise water and refreshing rivers. My husband and I spent summers tubing and kayaking all day to avoid the Texas heat! In 2012, we purchased the vacant land and, through years of dedication and love, built our custom home. It's been a labor of passion, and we're thrilled to share this special place with guests who appreciate it as much as we do.
Over the past five years, we've gained invaluable hosting experience, welcoming travelers from all other the world. While we currently reside in Montgomery, TX, we've assembled a fantastic team of co-hosts, cleaners, and tradespeople to ensure our guests receive top-notch service and in-person assistance whenever needed.
We pride ourselves on kindness, fairness, and professionalism, as well as on providing a clean and well-maintained stay. We strive to provide an exceptional experience for every guest.
