The Space:

River Bliss by Tiny Away is located in the peaceful locality of Pacific Haven – gateway to K’gari and the Fraser Coast, Queensland. Our pet-friendly tiny house offers a unique countryside experience with opportunities to see kangaroos, enjoy time by the dam, and take in beautiful sunset and sunrise views.



Perfectly positioned for exploring some of Queensland’s best nearby spots, you can visit the Burrum River, Pacific Haven Boat Ramp, Hervey Bay, Woodgate Beach, K’gari, and Bamboo Land Nursery & Parklands.



A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.



Guest Access:

Guests can access the tiny house and its surrounding areas, except for the land host's private residence.



Advisory:



- No swimming is allowed in the dam.

- Please note we have a small dog living on the property.

- Guests can drink from the filtered water jug provided in the fridge.

- Please note that the area between the house and the river is a shared space.

- If you want to use the pontoon for boating or fishing, kindly arrange access with the owner before or upon arrival.

River Bliss by Tiny Away is nestled in Pacific Haven – gateway to the Fraser Coast, Queensland. Our tiny house lets you experience countryside living surrounded by wildlife, waterways, and scenic skies.



Explore the Burrum River and Pacific Haven Boat Ramp for fishing, boating, and kayaking, or head to Hervey Bay and Woodgate Beach for whale watching, waterfront walks, swimming, and wildlife spotting. Venture to K’gari (Fraser Island) to discover pristine lakes and rainforests, or wander through the gardens and walking trails of Bamboo Land Nursery & Parklands.



For everyday essentials and a taste of local life, head to nearby Howard, where you’ll find cosy bakeries, a local pub, milk bar, bottle shop, and IGA. When you’re craving more variety, Hervey Bay, Maryborough, and Childers offer plenty of shops, cafés, and restaurants. Stop by Enzo’s for breakfast or enjoy Indian cuisine at India Gate on the Bay.



There’s plenty to see and do beyond the local towns, too. Spend a day whale watching from Hervey Bay Marina, stroll along Urangan Pier, explore Fraser Island and the Sandy Straits, or wander through Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens and Bamboo Land in Torbanlea. For a dose of local arts, entertainment, and culture, catch a show at Brolga Theatre in Maryborough or visit Hervey Bay RSL.

- Wi-Fi is available.

- Gas BBQ grill is available.

- All mobile networks have weak signals.

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- Not suitable for children due to nearby dam, river, and steep riverbank.

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge.

- Guests are permitted to smoke anywhere on the property, as there is currently no designated smoking area.

- Pets are allowed by 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival.



Important note:



- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban

- Keep an eye out for snakes as the property is located in bushland (or grassland) areas

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
