Experience the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Nestled on 2 private acres with lake access, Kind Cabin is a newly listed A-frame retreat for families, couples, and solo seekers looking to swap city noise for the sounds of a babbling stream and rustling leaves.

The Property
Our cabin offers a quintessential "woodland" vibe with plenty of room to breathe.

Relax & Play: The cabin is entirely yours! Enjoy our spacious yard, multiple decks for morning coffee and outdoor dining, and a play structure for the kids. While we have neighbours on either side, the property remains airy yet private, with the woods running directly behind the house.

Please note there is a small camper on-site; it remains locked and unused during your stay to ensure your total privacy.

The Grounds: Enjoy sitting by the pond or wander down to the stream. While the woods are still a bit "wild" and rough, they are yours to explore with a bit of care!

Lake Life: You’ll have access to beautiful Rice Lake during your stay. We’re lucky enough to have a shared dock for residents of our private road, just a two-minute walk from the cabin. It’s a lovely shallow spot - perfect for a quick dip or to catch those famous Northumberland golden hour sunsets.

Located in Roseneath, we’re an easy drive from Toronto or Peterborough - far enough to escape the city, and close enough that you won't spend your whole weekend in the car.

When you aren’t busy relaxing at the cabin, there is much to see around beautiful Northumberland County. Here are a few of our favourite ways to spend a day:

Get Lost in Nature: Explore the trails of Northumberland County Forest and Ganaraska Forest.

Village Hopping: Take a stroll through Warkworth or Brighton - both are full of local charm and great little shops.

History by the Water: Grab a coffee and walk the historic waterfronts in Cobourg or Port Hope.

Life on the Lake: If you're into fishing or boating, Rice Lake is right at your doorstep.
