Step into Studio One, a thoughtfully restored 1929 corner store transformed into a distinctive luxury retreat in the heart of Geelong West. Blending original character with contemporary comfort, this beautifully curated stay captures the charm of its heritage beginnings while offering a refined and welcoming space to unwind, work, or explore the vibrant local surrounds.
Perfectly positioned just moments from lively Pakington Street, guests can spend their days wandering between cafés, boutique stores, local restaurants, vintage shops, and neighbourhood markets, all just a short stroll away. Geelong’s waterfront and CBD are also within easy reach, making Studio One an ideal base for both relaxed weekends and longer stays.
Inside, the apartment is filled with natural light that highlights the original architectural features and carefully considered interiors. The open-plan living space invites guests to slow down and settle in, featuring a plush lounge, large Smart TV, complimentary WiFi, and a fully equipped modern kitchen complete with quality appliances, dishwasher, and everything needed for an effortless stay.
The sleeping space has been designed with comfort and relaxation in mind, offering a calm and cosy retreat at the end of the day. Crisp linens, soft textures, and thoughtful styling create a boutique hotel feel, while the beautifully finished marble bathroom with rain shower and European laundry adds an extra touch of luxury. Sleeping arrangements include :
Bedroom 1: 1x King Bed
With its creative design, premium finishes, and unbeatable location, Studio One offers a stay that feels both timeless and unique, a memorable Geelong escape filled with character, comfort, and style.
Things to Note: Studio One does not have an outdoor space however its ideal central location means that across one road you have the Yardz Hotel with Beer Garden, across the main road you have the Geelong West sporting complex: oval, netball courts & cycling track. Short walk to Pakington Streets cafes, restaurants & shops. And if you walk straight down Church St (around 15 mins) you’ll arrive at Geelong’s beautiful Bay/Gardens (5 min by car)
Parking: There is no parking on the property. Free Street parking is available in Church St & Raven St.
As our Guest in Studio 1, you will be staying in a creatively & beautifully designed very comfortable Town House. Please note that we are a part of a larger block of 2 more living spaces, we kindly ask that you respect others by avoiding loud noise such as loud music and loud TV shows. And of course we do have a “no party” condition.
Traffic Noise: Studio 1 was originally a shop front Corner Store. Built on a main road (Church St) for maximum exposure. While the new commercial windows and doors at the front do a great job of filtering out the noise you will get some reduced traffic noise especially during the day. At night time in the bedroom (window closed) you will have a lovely peaceful sleep.
Getaway Property Management Terms & Conditions:
For security and fraud purposes, guests are required to complete a booking form, provide licence ID for guests and confirm payment details prior to check in. These identification details must match the details of the person who made the reservation.
Strictly No parties
This property does not accept hens or bucks’ gatherings. Penalties as per terms and conditions agreement will apply to guests.
This property does not accept schoolies, penalties will apply to guests.
If you wish to book this property between schoolies dates -November 24th – December 10th, please call Getaway Property Management to discuss.
No smoking on premises.
Pets allowed upon approval.
Please note that this property is patrolled by Coastcom security.
20% Deposit automatically taken to secure booking – Final balance due 30 days prior to guest arrival.
No refund 30 days prior to original guest check in date – Partial refund eligible if booking is cancelled outside of 30 days from original guest arrival date.
