We’re sisters with a shared passion for creating beautiful, welcoming spaces and memorable guest experiences. With a background in hospitality and a career as a successful hair stylist, we’ve always been drawn to the details that make people feel comfortable, cared for, and at home.

Originally from Vancouver, we made the move to Kelowna in 2019 to be closer to family—and quickly fell in love with the Okanagan lifestyle. Our hosting journey began with Orchard House in Kelowna’s Packing District, a 5-star short-term rental we owned and operated with pride until 2023.

Our current home, full of charming Spanish-style character, inspired our next chapter. In 2025, we thoughtfully designed and built a boutique one-bedroom suite within our home, blending old-world charm with modern comfort. That vision became Upper Mission Casita—a cozy, refined retreat we’re proud to share with our guests.

When we’re not hosting, you’ll find us tending to our garden plot at DeHart Community Park, exploring the city on our e-bikes, staying active with our community of friends, and enjoying plenty of laughter along the way.

Our connection to this neighborhood started long before we called it home. In 2013, one of us attended a work conference at Summerhill Winery and was completely captivated by the sweeping lake views and unforgettable Okanagan sunsets. That moment stayed with us—and ultimately helped shape our decision to settle in Kelowna years later.

We were drawn to the Upper Mission for its peaceful, elevated setting. It offers the perfect balance for us: close enough to enjoy the energy, dining, and culture of the city, yet far enough removed to relax and unwind in a quieter, more serene environment.

Since moving here, we’ve been especially excited to see the continued growth and thoughtful development of the area. The neighborhood offers an ideal mix of amenities while still maintaining its charm and natural beauty.

We’re surrounded by some of the best the Okanagan has to offer—beautiful beaches, scenic parks, incredible hiking and biking trails, local shops, and world-class wineries—all just minutes away. For us, it’s truly the best of both worlds, and we’re so happy to share it with our guests.

There’s something about our home that invites you to exhale the moment you arrive. Perhaps it’s the warmth of its marigold yellow exterior, or the character of its Spanish-style design—something we had never experienced before, but instantly fell in love with.

This home carries a sense of history that’s quite special to us. It’s literally etched into the front door, a thoughtful detail from the original owners who built the house and ensured its story would always be remembered and honoured. That sense of character and care is something we’ve carried into our guest space.

Our boutique one-bedroom suite is a natural extension of the home itself—designed with comfort, charm, and intention. It offers a private, peaceful retreat where guests can truly relax and unwind. Step out onto the cozy patio, take in the lake views, and you may even find yourself accompanied by birdsong as you sip your morning coffee or enjoy a glass of wine—an experience that feels a little bit like something out of a storybook.
