Cochrane retreat, near Calgary, Ur perfect base for Banff Jasper & Rockies trips

Welcome to our cozy, quiet home located in Cochrane's top-rated community. We are a retired couple in our fifties and sixties, keeping the entire house clean, neat, warm and tastefully furnished with no clutter at all.

Both guest bedrooms( it is second floor, no elevator) are now available for your stay, On the second floor, you’ll find the master bedroom(where we live)
and the guest wing.
The guest wing is a private, curtained-off area with two bedrooms (one queen bed, one twin bed) and a shared full bathroom, located centrally between them. This self-contained space offers full privacy for your group of up to 4 guests.

The listed price is the standard rate for up to 4 guests, using both rooms with guest-shared bathroom.

The shared full bathroom is located between the two second-floor
bedrooms. It is exclusively for guests of these two rooms (max 4 people)
and not attached to any bedroom.

The second floor has two bedrooms: one with a queen bed,

in the booking for up to 4 guests. No extra beds are available here.

Guests are welcome to share the main floor kitchen and living room, as well as the backyard deck and BBQ grill. Parking is available on our driveway, plus plenty of free street parking nearby.

Perfectly located: only 25-30 minutes to Calgary, 40 minutes to Canmore, 1 hour to Banff, and around 3.5-4 hours to Jasper. It is an ideal quiet base for Rockies travel, family trips and relaxing getaways.

We speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese, so feel free to reach out in whichever language you prefer!

Beyond the mountains, Cochrane itself is a charming historic town with western-style shops and heritage buildings. Don’t miss Alberta’s famous local ice cream shops, scenic river trails, paragliding adventures, and a variety of cycling routes—from paved paths to fun downhill and cross-country mountain bike trails loved by kids and adults alike. The town also boasts the renowned Eagle Golf Course, the unique Cochrane College of the Canadian Reformed Theological Seminary, and the lively annual Cochrane Lions Rodeo over Labour Day Weekend (early September), where kids and families enjoy classic rodeo events.
