Cozy Chalet

Restore and recharge in this harmonious and very comfortable Quebec cottage. Tucked around beautiful and calming trees, this renovated house has easy access to all of the adventures of Lanaudiere, but it is so cozy you might not want to leave. This is the perfect place to base yourself for a weekend of hiking, biking or simply escaping the city and enjoying the wood stove or outdoor spa and sauna

The space
Superb Cottage, located 6 minutes from the village of Sainte Beatrix or St-Alphonse-Rodriguez (just only 1 hour drive from Montreal). The forest of 64000 square feet, with its beautiful views will give you the tranquility and peace to disconnect from city life, and more in a short walk (few minutes away) you wil have acces to L'Assomption river, for swimming, kayaking or paddle boarding (equipment not provided).

Other things to note
* Please note that is a Self Checking Cottage, during winter period
(November to April) we do regular snow removal, however, we do not
guarantee access to or operation of the outdoor fireplace due to weather
conditions that are beyond our control (snow and icing can occur in the
last hours). However, you will have access to a shovel and salt if you ever
want to clean the site and use the fireplace
* The cottage has stairs and because we are in the mountain the yard has steep areas. Surveillance of children is required
* No smoking, no parties & no extra guests beyond what you booked
* TV Bell Fiber
* Internet Fiber allow streaming connection (conference call, Netflix, Disney or TV over internet connection)
* Wood stove available only during Winter, Fire pit around the year. We don't provide firewood. You can buy it at locar Store METRO, 7 to 12 minutes away
* Open fires are prohibited. It should only be done in the devices provided
for this usage. Firewood is included in reasonable quantities.
* Fireworks are not permitted
* We welcome dogs (1 per stay) on a case-by-case basis and only with our authorization, for an additional fee per stay. General guidelines: well-trained, clean, hypoallergenic, non-shedding dogs and under (around) 20 lbs. Guets Must pick up dog's hair, feces and keep the yard clean. Failure to do so may result in additional cleaning charges. ($55/hour)
