Welcome to Amarela Haus – Your Coastal Retreat

Amarela Haus is a bright, open, and inviting double-story beach home, designed for slow, sun-drenched days and breezy, balmy nights. Nestled in a beachgoer’s paradise, it’s a place where time slows, and memories come easily.

Inside, you’ll find three cosy bedrooms, each with a queen bed dressed in soft linens. A perfect retreat after salty swims and long walks by the shore.

Upstairs, the open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space is bathed in natural light, with soaring ceilings and expansive windows that capture the warmth of its north-facing aspect. Sliding doors on either side invite the sea breeze to drift through, keeping things cool on summer nights.

The modern kitchen is well-equipped for shared meals, whether it’s a casual breakfast before a day at the beach or a feast prepared together. Step outside onto the deck, fire up the barbecue, and dine under the evening sky, surrounded by the sounds of the coast.

Down below, the generous backyard is made for barefoot wanderings, impromptu games, and slow afternoons in the sun. As night falls, gather around the fire pit, toast marshmallows, and watch the stars emerge.

More than just a beach house, Amarela Haus is a sanctuary. Where the tides set the rhythm of your days, every sunrise invites adventure, and every sunset promises a slow, peaceful evening by the sea.

Known for one of Phillip Island's most popular walks, Cape Woolamai is home to the famous Pinnacles, spectacular coastal scenery and one of Victoria's best surf breaks.

Walk along the sheer cliff tops of Phillip Island's most southerly point and be rewarded with superb panoramas of the Island, wild clifftop views and the spectacular ancient pink granite of the pinnacles rocks, on the Cape Woolamai Circuit Walk.

Cape Woolamai is also home to the largest colony of Short-tailed Shearwaters on Phillip Island and is one of the most famous surf beaches in Australia. This beach is patrolled by the Woolamai Beach Surf Life Saving Club in the summer and is a significant part of the National Surfing Reserve. But don’t be fooled by its beauty, the Cape Woolamai surf beach is not for the faint-hearted! This beach is recommended for experienced surfers only, while the safety beach on the bayside of Cape Woolamai provides the ideal spot for swimming with the family.

After a day spent walking or surfing, head to Bang Bang Bar and Restaurant for a refreshing drink, excellent food and a real locals vibe. You will also find a choice of food and shopping venues at the entrance to Cape Woolamai, including the cosy Wooli Tavern!

Just a short walk to all the eateries in Cape Woolamai. There is a small grocery store, The Wooli Tavern Pub, Bang Bang and your classic take away shops.

We do recommend having a car to get to popular tourist destinations like the Penguin Parade, The Nobbies, Wildlife park and Surf beaches.

There is a local bus that comes a few times a day that'll take you into Cowes.

It's also possible to get a Vline bus from Melbourne CBD practically to our doorstop. So if you dont drive, no problem. I can help you with bus timetables. Just send us a message.
