A private lodge where you can enjoy authentic BBQ surrounded by nature
This private lodge is surrounded by forest and offers a camping experience, featuring authentic BBQs and bonfires. All you need to bring is food, fire starters, firewood, and charcoal. All other amenities are provided.
The lodge is mountain hut-style, with simple bedding (mattresses and blankets). However, in its prime forest location, you'll enjoy a full range of BBQ equipment, including a BBQ fire pit, smoky grill, Dutch oven, giant frying pan, hot sandwich maker, and mess tin, at a better price than the surrounding area. (Information about where to buy food, fire starters, firewood, and charcoal will be provided after booking.)
We'll send you advance emails with instructions on how to light the charcoal and use the smoky grill, so even beginners can feel at ease. Feel free to use it at any time during your stay. A covered BBQ space is also available.
In-room amenities include a large TV with access to Amazon Prime, board games, darts, and puzzles.
The central Kusatsu hot spring area is about a 30-minute drive away. If you have time, be sure to visit Kusatsu's famous hot springs.
Our group facilities, "Outdoor Private Villa Kitakaruizawa I" and "Outdoor Private Villa Kitakaruizawa II," are located within a 10-minute drive.
