Family Spring Break
We stayed at this Evolve rental in Kissimmee, Florida over Spring Break with a large family group—including my 83-year-old mom and cousins—and it couldn’t have worked out better.The home was clean, spacious, and in a neighborhood that felt very safe. With 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably. Having a bedroom on the ground floor was especially helpful for anyone who prefers to avoid stairs.One of the highlights was the backyard and nearby ponds—we spent time fishing and caught bass right there, which was a huge hit with the group. Yes, there are alligators in the area, but that’s part of Florida living. We never experienced any aggressive behavior, but it’s something to stay aware of, as you would anywhere in the state.The enclosed pool was another big plus, especially in the evenings when the bugs come out. It’s about 5.5 feet deep—perfect for cooling off and having fun. The house is also well set up for entertainment, with multiple TVs, pull-out couches for extra sleeping space, and a billiards table. We had four teenage boys with us, and they stayed busy swimming, fishing, playing pool, golfing, and even hitting a nearby public basketball court.The washer and dryer were excellent, which meant we didn’t have to overpack—always a win. The dishwasher and fully functional appliances made things easy for a large group. Morning coffee overlooking the water while listening to the wildlife come alive was something we all really enjoyed.The owner was responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. We also met Angie, who was finishing up cleaning when we arrived—she did a fantastic job and clearly takes pride in keeping the home turnkey and ready for guests.One small tip: you may want to bring laundry detergent, as it’s a newer rental and supplies may vary. That said, we left some behind, and I imagine others will too.This trip brought together family from Ohio and Minnesota, and we truly made lifelong memories. I would give this place 5 stars without hesitation.
