Welcome to Harbourview Galley, a bright and cozy ground-level apartment in the heart of downtown St. John’s. Just steps from George Street, the city’s best restaurants, cafés, pubs, and waterfront walks, this space is perfectly positioned for guests who want to experience the city like a local.
Step outside to your private harbour-view patio, where you can enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks while watching the boats come and go. Seasonal bistro seating and casual outdoor furniture make it easy to linger and unwind.
The apartment is thoughtfully equipped for comfort, including a bedroom A/C unit to keep things cool during warm summer months — ideal for extended stays.
The space is ideal for one or two guests, with the flexibility to accommodate up to four using the living-room sofa bed. There is no extra charge for up to four guests at Harbourview Galley.
The living area features harbour views, a private balcony, and a relaxed coastal-modern style that feels calm and inviting. Amenities include:
• High-speed Wi-Fi
• 45” Smart TV
• Gas fireplace with remote
• Large ceiling fan with remote
The bedroom includes a Queen-size bed, a comfortable reading chair, storage for personal belongings, and a large window overlooking St. John’s harbour — a peaceful place to wake up and wind down.
The four-piece bathroom is stocked with towels and basic toiletries. All linens are provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped for longer stays, with a full-size fridge and stove, microwave, cookware, dishes, and everything you need to prepare meals at home.
The apartment comfortably accommodates up to four guests. While the space is not child-proofed, families are welcome provided children are supervised at all times. A pack n play crib will be available upon request; please request this in advance of your stay.

St. John’s is widely regarded as safe, especially compared to larger urban centers, but as in any downtown area, it's wise to stay aware of your surroundings—particularly at night or on busy streets like George Street.
Use common sense; lock doors at all times, avoid isolated areas after dark and enjoy the city’s dynamic charm with joy and confidence.
You have free parking for one vehicle available to you during your stay. The parking pass is located just inside your entry door, on the wall to your right. This must be returned at end of stay to avoid a necessary 100$ replacement fee.
Guests should purchase their own insurance for their stay, or for in the case of emergency cancelation, if such coverage is desired beyond our clearly stated cancelation policy.
Guests must provide a government-issued ID (e.g., driver’s license) to confirm their identity upon booking.
Legalese: The Guest and any of their guests hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Owner and Property Manager against all claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from the use of the premises regardless of the nature of the incident, injury, or loss. The Guest expressly recognizes that any insurance for property damage or loss which the Owner may maintain on the property does not cover the personal property of the Guest.

I love the location for its proximity to everything downtown, mainly, but there are other place just north of us as well that are intriguing and great to be within walking distance of. The Rooms, for example, is an iconic, uniquely crafted space that is the most extensive collection of artifacts, art and provincial archival records available as well as restaurant and gift-shop all in one. Also visit the Postmaster's Bakery for the sweetest and best quality of detectible treats. All just steps away.
