Paradise on Prospect is a private luxury residence adjacent to Crested Butte Mountain Resort in exclusive Prospect development. Situated trail-side off Elko Park ski trail / Prospector hiking (or mountain biking) trail you’ll step outside your door to wildflower lined singletrack in the Summer and beautifully groomed corduroy leading to Gold Link chairlift in the Winter. While other properties claim to be ski-in/ski-out, access often involves walking or crossing roads. Here the snowcat grooms right to the house (generally beginning the weekend before Christmas until the end of the season when Goldlink Chair opens). After your day’s adventures, ski right down to your personal patio and hot tub-view the video to witness the ease. We recommend that guests booking prior to Christmas check the lift and trail report on CBMR, as the Elcho Park and Gold Link Chairlifts may not yet be operational due to limited snow or early-season staffing.

This 5000 square-foot home features in-floor gas fired radiant heat throughout including in our large garage, 6 parking spots, 2 kitchens, 6 bedrooms (5 kings & one bunkroom), 5 1/2 baths, 2 living areas, and a home office complete with treadmill desk. Epic views adorn every room. The entrance leads to a visually dramatic living space with flowing sun-filled interiors and in-your-face views of Gothic & Belview. The vast main living area is open & a great place for the whole family to gather. You can choose to cook in or inquire about hiring a private chef in our well-stocked kitchen w/ soapstone island, drop in Wolf induction cooktop & Thermador double wall ovens. The expansive dining table seats up to 14 & offers panoramic views of the East River Valley & Mountain Range. Additional dining seating at island & downstairs. A large mudroom off the kitchen provides ample storage space. Also off the kitchen is a laundry room with double stacked Electrolux washers & dryers. The primary suite, also located on the main level features a king bed & luxurious bathroom equipped with a 47 x 80-inch step-in steam shower & a deluxe 70-inch soaking tub thoughtfully placed in front of a dual window overlooking the majestic mountain scenery. There are access points around the house for high-speed internet. On the top level 2 king bedrooms share a full bathroom with a walk-in glass shower. The lower level offers additional living space, ideal for extended families, with a full kitchen, dining area, living area, & 3 more bedrooms (2 kings & 1 bunkroom -each with own full bath) & washer/dryer. Outside enjoy an expansive flagstone patio with an oversized hot tub, seasonal trampoline, gas grill, & large fire pit. Entertainment options abound with high-definition flat-panel televisions, Sonos speakers, outdoor foosball table, folding ping pong table, dartboard, & board games. While a vehicle is recommended for getting around, Mount CB offers a free on-demand shuttle service that will pick you up & transport you anywhere in Mount Crested Butte. We provide 100% cotton bed & bath linens, paper towels, toilet paper, botanical body wash, botanical shampoo & conditioner, hand lotion, facial tissue, hand soap, laundry soap, liquid dish soap, dishwasher pods, and trash bags to ensure a comfortable stay. Only the number of guests listed in the reservation are permitted to stay at the property. Dogs are the only pets allowed, with a maximum of two dogs. Any changes to guest count or pet inclusion must be made through VRBO and may incur additional fees. Changes to the number of nights after the cancellation period are subject to the terms of the cancellation policy. For groups exceeding 12 guests (excluding children under 24 months) or for those bringing dog, an additional fee of $50 per night, per person or dog applies when specified at the time of booking. This fee is automatically charged (for one-dog only) on platform.
