Closest Condo to the Gulf; Right on the beach 509

Well maintained two bedroom, two bath condominium is located off Thomas Drive. Our condo was built before the new setback rules went into effect and is located on the top floor (5th) and overlooks the Gulf right on the beach. There are no large developments on either side of Gulfgate. You can leave the condo and be on the beach in 60 seconds. The pool is heated and lounge chairs and tables for your use are located in the pool areas. You must be 26 years or older to rent at Gulfgate.
Our condo has Tile floors and king size beds in both bedrooms. Master bedroom also opens to the spacious balcony . Both bedrooms and living area have TV's. We also have wireless internet.
We just purchased this condo which is next door to VRBO 61797(see our reviews) that we purchased new in the 70's. It has the same floor plan and have just finished the renovation with same paint scheme and beautiful new tile floors.
Gulfgate is close to all major attractions and shopping. Gulfgate is the perfect place to bring your family and have a wonderful vacation. We are never crowded !

Great location (right on the beach). The building was under construction during our stay, so we didn't get full use of the amenities, but we were made aware of it and it worked out fine. It is a very clean, functional unit with a great view!

All you need getaway

Property was as described, spacious and comfortable. Beds were firm but comfortable. Pool was really nice, warm, under shade and deep. The beach is just steps away, and the view from the unit was unbeatable. Quiet and relaxing area. Restaurants within walking distance. Grocery and pharmacy very close. Parking was great. Great place for a family getaway.

Wonderful place, great area

The place was very clean, very nice area, quite, and not very crowded. The dog area was a sand pit, so that was disappointing. The elevator has no air flow so it gets very hot and stagnant in there, but the ride is short. Despite some small things, we would definitely stay again.

Always good experience

This is our second stay here, we've never had a bad experience. Only thing negative I'd have to say is we've watched numerous people park here and not be tenants to go to the beach, that limits the parking spots for the actual tenants, also the elevator is hot and slow other than that everything was perfect just a few minor fixes. We will definitely return to Gulfgate again.

What a fantastic vacation!!!

My family had an amazing spring break vacation in this lovely beach condo! It was perfect for all that we needed! It was right on the beach, had a pool, and was close to all of the wonderful restaurants that Panama City has to offer! We were so very thankful to be able to bring our two mini-dachshunds, and they ABSOLUTELY loved the beach life!!! Thank you for providing this memorable experience!!!! We will definitely contact you when we come back for our next adventure, Ben!!!!! Thanks again!!!!

Awesome perfect location!!!! Right on the beach!

If you are looking for an awesome condo in Panama City Beach this is it! Perfect view of the ocean, literally right on the beach! The great thing about this condo is that they take dogs up to 50lb. It's super hard to find a place, trust me it took me 3 months to find this condo. Most "pet friendly"condos or hotels are up to 20 lb. That made this fantastic that we could bring our husky and our boxer mix! Room was super clean! Ben, the owner, is fantastic! We will definitely be back and hopefully make this a yearly trip! And just in case you're wondering there are two small grills by the pool. Like I said the view of the ocean is awesome I even got to see a dolphin and a bunch of pelicans. I've never seen that many pelicans at one time there must have been at least 20 or more. Plenty of bars to walk to if you're into that. You have to try Captain Jack's they have all you can eat crab legs steak etc. The beds were super comfy! Extremely highly highly recommended!

Best Choice We Made!

Let me first start off by saying you will not find any host who is as friendly, responsive and helpful as this VRBO host! Unless the building is on fire, I highly recommend communicating directly with Ben or Melissa Murray.I wasn't sure what to expect w/dog friendly condo. We have 2 hypoallergenic dogs (allergies) & took our chances. Boy are we glad we did!! The place was immaculate! From the tile floors to the furniture, not only did it not have any "pet smells," but it was a wow factor of cleanliness & overall freshness. It was surprisingly impressive! We treat wherever we stay like its home. From stocking the fridge, hanging clothes, setting up the bathroom, etc. it was a comforting feeling having all the space to accommodate our needs. The space throughout the condo was nice & airy and open.There's an extra table in the dining area that worked well for us for placing snacks, etc. That was a nice touch!After appreciating what the condo had to offer, when you step out to the balcony, you're greeted with the most stunning view of the ocean. What's more, this location isn't a high rise and mostly homes surround it so at no time do you feel like you have to hurry down to the beach to secure a place because this part of the beach isn't packed.When you're not at the beach or cooling off in the pool, there's a couple places within walking distance you can visit & also dog friendly! There's so much more I could talk about but I think you should enjoy the experience for yourself!

Awesome location!

Unit was clean, furniture was nice, and beds were comfortable. Great location with awesome views. The only “issue” (and it really wasn’t) was we discovered on Friday that the garbage disposal wasn’t working, but since we were leaving the next morning, it wasn’t a problem at all. The new washer & dryer were great
wish I had them at my house. :) We’d definitely stay here again!
