With a full kitchen, dedicated workspace, onsite parking, and ducted evaporative cooling, this stylish coastal retreat offers effortless comfort within a short stroll of the Esplanade’s vibrant dining scene and a quick drive to Adelaide Airport.
Over a century old and filled with character, this charming beachfront home captures the relaxed rhythm of Henley life. Sunlight filters through every corner, creating a welcoming space that blends coastal simplicity with the quirks of a well-loved heritage home. The front living area opens directly to the sea — a daily reminder that the shoreline lies just across the Esplanade.
Beyond the living area, a spacious sunroom curves around the front of the home, where multiple seating areas and a dining table invite quiet reflection and slow meals with sweeping sea views. A mini fridge and drinks trolley keep refreshments close at hand, while a dedicated workspace offers a quiet corner for remote work. The shaded rear patio provides another welcoming spot for alfresco gatherings.
Moving inward, the kitchen is bright and fully equipped with gas cooking, a dishwasher, and a concealed coffee station stocked with a Nespresso machine, mugs, and a kettle. Beside it, the dining area centres around a large timber table and an upright piano, creating a warm space for family dinners.
Each bedroom is designed for comfort with thoughtful touches. The primary bedroom offers a king bed, a decorative fireplace, and twin wardrobes. The second bedroom features two single beds, a decorative fireplace, and a staircase leading to the upper loft. Upstairs, the open loft retreat is divided into two zones: a queen bedroom and a games lounge with a sofa, TV, and foosball table. The main bathroom and laundry sit conveniently near the kitchen, fitted with a bathtub, shower, vanity, washer, and toilet. A second separate toilet adds extra convenience.
Year-round comfort is ensured with ducted evaporative cooling, a gas heating radiator in the living area, and ceiling fans throughout. Free street parking is available nearby.
Please note that in the loft retreat, overhead skylights and a glass floor panel fill both levels with natural light, meaning the room isn’t fully block-out and not ideal for unsupervised children. The skylight may rattle in windy conditions. Access to the loft is via the second bedroom. The property is part of a duplex and features a long corridor connecting all rooms.
During your stay, you and your group will have the entire house to yourselves. Please make yourselves at home!
