Edna’s was home for 60 years of beloved locals Edna and Jack Grant and their five boys. Toast them whilst admiring the sweeping views and the mature garden they planted on a 1500 sq metre private yard

Perhaps coffee and breakfast on the deck often shared with friendly resident magpies Marion and Morrissey — a local ritual our guests love. Inside, gather in the open-plan living area filled with sunshine through north-facing windows. Enjoy a movie night with Netflix and Max, browse 200+ books, or play a board game by the gas heater. For active fun, pick up the house tennis rackets and head 200 metres to the Daylesford Grass Tennis Courts (open October–May). A short three-block stroll leads you to Main Street cafés, dining, and galleries. When the evening cools, light the outdoor fire pit and take in the twinkling lights of Daylesford.

Whether you’re here for a weekend or a month, you’ll find everything you need: full kitchen with induction cooktop, dishwasher, and oven, coffee machine and complimentary supplies, washing machine for easy in-house laundry, fast NBN Wi-Fi + 4G backup, and a workspace/study with a view to Wombat Hill — ideal for remote work or quiet reading.

Three main bedrooms feature two queen beds and one king, dressed in pure cotton or linen. Each room includes generous storage and its own split-system heating/cooling for year-round comfort. A fourth room doubles as a study or extra bedroom, with a single bed that can convert into two side-by-side singles.

After exploring Hepburn Springs or the local markets, unwind with a soak in the tub. Epsom salts, candles, and a view of the night sky complete the experience.

Small dogs (up to 15 kg) are welcome at Edna’s. The expansive gardens offer space to explore, though please note the front is not fully fenced.
