THE SPACE
The Barefoot Beach House is a cozy, beach-inspired retreat with comfortable furnishings throughout. Relax on the sofa, gather at the breakfast nook or dining table, or cook in the fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, stone countertops, and a Keurig. Indoor entertainment includes multiple large TVs, high-speed internet, and Bluetooth speakers.

All four bedrooms feature plush mattresses, quality linens, and charming beach décor. Two full bathrooms and a washer/dryer add convenience.

Outside, enjoy a wooden deck with a gas grill, lounge seating, patio table, and Adirondack chairs around a firepit. The fenced yard is perfect for kids, and beach gear—chairs, umbrella, cooler, wagon, and sand toys—is provided for trips to Lake Michigan.

Perfect for families, couples, or remote workers, the home includes a dedicated workspace, EV charger, and Smart Tv's in every room - so everyone can stay connected and entertained. The open living spaces make it easy to spend time together, while the fenced yard provides space for kids (and adults) to play!

Ubers, Lyfts, and taxis are rare and may take a long time to arrive.

Guests will need a car to get around Michigan City.

Before You Arrive
To help us get everything ready for your stay, we’ll ask you to complete a short pre-arrival form, upload a valid government ID (driver’s license, passport, or state ID), and sign our rental conditions. Guests must be at least 24 years old to book.

During Your Stay
Our home is in a peaceful Sheridan Beach neighborhood, so we kindly ask that you respect our neighbors by keeping noise levels down. Parties, smoking or vaping in the house, and illegal substances are not permitted. Pets: please check with us before booking for approval and fee, dogs only. Please just remember to clean up after them. Please do not rearrange the furniture. Also, for your house manual you will receive a digital guidebook prior to your stay.

We provide a few starter essentials - including linens, towels, beach gear, and a fully equipped kitchen so you can unpack and unwind from the moment you arrive. Anything additional you may need during your stay can be picked up nearby at your convenience.
