Beautifully restored lakefront home with views of lake from almost every room. Large front deck that is perfect for watching the Chippewa Lake ski team or catching the amazing sunsets. Perfect family getaway that has 2 community parks a short walk away with tennis court, Pickle Ball court, bocce ball court, playgrounds, corn hole and picnic tables. Basketball half court and beach volleyball also available. Kayaks, Paddle Boards, bikes and sport equipment are included with rental. Garden shed houses the Bocce balls, volleyball, basketball, corn hole bags, kayak and paddle board paddles, as well as fishing poles and life vests (multiple sizes). Guests do not have access to the private docks. However, guests can launch the kayaks and paddle boards from the property to the right of the beach. Note: Two people are needed to carry each kayak and paddle board. Would recommend to stay around the perimeter of the lake.

Home has two (2) bathrooms and two (2 ) bedrooms, plus a sunroom with a queen size sleeper sofa. French doors close off the sunroom, which could be used as a 3rd bedroom if needed. Living room has two Ikea chairs that convert to beds which would be ideal for kids. Home sleeps six adults (6) comfortably. Clawfoot tub, original to house, in master bath and guest bathroom has an oversized shower.

Fully furnished kitchen with all amenities and appliances. Outside gas grill also available.
Internet with Wi-Fi and Smart TV with Roku. i.e. Netflix and Amazon Prime etc. with your own account. Gas fireplace is great for winter months.

Three (3) restaurants within walking distance. The Oaks Lakeside, The Village Inn, and Contessa's on the Lake.
Home is also a great location for those that need a place to stay while celebrating a wedding at the Oaks Lakeside.

Downtown Medina is approximately10 minutes away and has many more fine dining options available. Historic downtown Medina has a beautiful gazebo along with many festivals throughout the year; Music in the Park, Ice festival in February, Art in the Park etc.

Home is within 40 minutes from Cleveland, 25 minutes from Akron, and less than an hour away from Amish Country.

Home is also professionally cleaned and sanitized for our guests after each visit. All linens and towels are provided and are washed with hot water and bleach. Guests also have access to washer and dryer (detergent included).

Fantastic Experience!

Ed and Kathy are wonderful hosts. They were so gracious and thoughtful. My husband and I stayed in this property for 2 nights following our wedding. There were congratulatory flowers waiting for us- so sweet! The home is beautiful and has everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to visit again! I would absolutely recommend this property to family and friends looking to stay in this area.

Modern comfortable, beautifully decorated home. Bedrooms and baths on first floor exceptionally appealing. Plenty of space for relaxing, inside and out. Excellent lakefront location in a friendly quiet community. Timely communication with Owners was most appreciated. Very happy guests.

Lovely Lake House

My husband, adult daughter, & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely lake cottage. The house is very clean, beautifully & comfortably decorated, and roomy. The kitchen is well stocked with every tool I could possibly use and a decent supply of basics (salt, pepper, oil). Everything looked new or in very good condition. Even the bathrooms (yes there are 2!) had some extra supplies. We really enjoyed the variety of toys available for our use; kayaks, bicycles, and cornhole. We had friends and family stop by through out our stay to enjoy relaxing on the deck looking out over the lake. The area is wonderfully quiet and relaxing. I could totally see bringing kiddos, lots of places to play and this house has plenty of supplies for play (even beach toys!) The owners were very responsive to the inquires we had. Ed & Kathy are very gracious hosts. Our only complaint is that we didn’t rent this lovely home for a longer period of time.

Charming historic home

This house and location on the beautiful Chippewa Lake is fabulous! Upon arrival, the cleanliness and fresh smell of this home is most pleasant. The beautiful decor is very welcoming. There’s so many nice touches to this place. Several kayaks, bikes and even paddle board with which to enjoy the lake. A fire pit was already set with wood for us and a bag filled with s’mores ingredients at arrival! The beds and linens were superb! We so enjoyed our time away at this lovely home! We highly recommend!

It is a hidden gem that offers all the amenities that people travel hours to get to, but is in our own backyard!
