Tucked away on nearly 150 acres of open pastureland with grazing cattle, this secluded getaway offers a true taste of country living while still being conveniently located — just 35 miles from Canyon Lake, 50 miles from Fredericksburg, and a little over an hour from both Austin and San Antonio.
The Space:
The Farmhouse at Outlaw Run Ranch-
Inside, you'll find a warm, inviting space where the open-concept layout effortlessly connects the living room, kitchen, and dining area, creating a welcoming space for gathering. The living room is furnished with comfortable leather sofas—an ideal setting for family game nights or engaging conversations.
The full kitchen features an electric stove, stainless steel refrigerator with bottom freezer, dishwasher, and toaster oven — perfect for preparing anything from a hearty breakfast to a farm-style dinner. Each of the three bedrooms is furnished with a comfortable queen bed, and the home includes three bathrooms: two with walk-in showers and one with a tub/shower combo, offering convenience and comfort for everyone in your group.
Step outside to enjoy the serenity of the ranch from your private patio — the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee as the sun rises over the pasture or unwind with a glass of wine as the evening settles in. Just off the patio, you'll find the goat barn and a variety of friendly ranch animals, including cows, horses, pigs, and charming micro mini Highland cows. There's even a Sorapla on the property.
Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a base for exploring the Hill Country, this ranch home offers the ideal blend of rustic charm and modern convenience.
Guest Access:
✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $59.99 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.5 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

7. Start-up sundries provided for the first two days; report missing items within one hour of arrival.
8. Pet-friendly units welcome pets with an additional fee; ensure pets are well-behaved and respectful.
9. Bugs are common in the Texas Hill Country; pest control is in place, but some insects are inevitable.
10. In Texas, there are periods of time without significant rainfall causing the county to place a ban on burning. Please check the current burn ban status, before using the fire pit at your vacation rental. Check the amenities to see if this rental is equipped with a fire pit.
