New Build Lakeside Cottage 2022 Modern Conveniences with Cottage Feel

This is a brand new cottage, 2022. It is ready for year round rentals. Everything in the cottage is brand new.
This cottage has central heat and a/c for year round comfort.
There are three bedrooms. One is on the first floor. The additional two are upstairs. They are large bedrooms.
There are 3.5 bathrooms. One and and a half on the first floor. Two full bathrooms on the second floor.
Appliances we have them all; kitchen disposal, drawer dishwashers, amazing fridge / freezer with interior drinking water dispenser, front loading washer and dryer, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, dual fuel stove/oven, drawer microwave, beverage fridge and a tankless hot water system. There is a Weber circular charcoal grill. You need to bring your own charcoal and matches. Did I mention large 4k tv over the fireplace. The fireplace is for looking at only. It is not to be used. This cottage is built top notch. The appliances are Bosch brand. Everything is brand new, including the golf cart.

The kitchen table seats 8 and the kitchen island seats 5. There are stools to be used around the dining table corners to seat another four people for dining and / or games, 12 people.

Outside on the front porch there is a couch with two chairs and ottomans. There are also three Adirondack chairs.

Lakeside is celebrating its 150th anniversary - summer 2023.

Lakeside Chautauqua is an amazing community. There is daily programming so be sure to check out the Lakeside Ohio web site. Lakeside helps to allow you to experience a slower time. The community includes Lake Erie pier, downtown shopping, restaurants, ice cream shops, movie theater, parks, splash pad, pool, wellness center, playgrounds, basketball, sand volleyball, walking trails, tennis, pickleball, shuffleboard, mini golf, art classes, worship, exhibits, and classes. Don't forget to walk along Ohio's Most Beautiful Mile, along the shores of Lake Erie.

Outside the gates there is a lot to do in the surrounding communities; Cedar Point, wineries, animal safari, waterparks, island hopping, and restaurants galore.

At no additional cost, an electric four person golf cart is included for use during the week. The golf cart is available end of May until the middle of October. You have to have a valid drivers license to operate the golf cart. You must be 21 years old to operate the golf cart. The golf cart is only to be used inside the gates/ fences of Lakeside. The golf cart is for four people. Each night the golf cart needs to be in the driveway charging, it is battery operated.

The internet is available year round. There is no cable tv. There is high speed WiFi throughout the cottage.
The tvs are smart tvs - if you have a subscription to a service that will work on the tv.

Did I mention there is also a half bath on the first floor for guests ?

The sheets are Molecule which is a performance sheet brand. They are comfortable and very breathable for any time of year.

Bedroom First Floor:
First floor primary bedroom: King bed with a bunk bed, twin over twin. This bedroom has an en-suite, with an amazing shower.

Bedrooms Upstairs:
Front Bedroom : King bed and twin bunk beds and a day bed. The daybed can be used as a bed or as a couch to get away. This bedroom has an en-suite, with an amazing shower with a rain shower head and a hand-held.
Rear Bedroom: This is a bunk room. Two sets of twin bunk beds. Third bunk is a twin over a queen. There is extra headroom for the queen bed under the twin. The bathroom is off the hall. It has a tub/ shower combo.

There are enough beds to sleep 16 - which gives you options for sleeping arrangements.

Linens are provided. As a convenience, all beds are premade with sheets prior to your arrival.
The sheets are being washed on the hottest cycle. Also, Lysol Detergent sanitizer is being added.
All sheets & towels will be cleaned upon departure by the cleaners. Please put all used towels and used bed sheets in the laundry room. You need to take the sheets off of the beds used and place into the laundry room.

There are some pool/beach towels.

This new cottage is top notch !!

Upon departure, guests must clean and put away all kitchenware.
Dishwasher detergent is under the sink.

There is a large grass space up on 6th street next to the wellness center. A great space to play in the yard. There are yard activities in the white storage chest along the left side of the cottage.

No pets

The fireplace is not usable. It is just for looks.

No smoking at the cottage.
No smoking inside the gates of Lakeside.

There is a $250 cleaning fee added to every reservation. Which is labeled as host fee.

Renters need to bring everything consumable.
Example- toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, etc.
Consumable items provided:
Cleaning supplies, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent and trash bags

Parking:
There are two parking spaces right in front of the cottage. Plus room for the golf cart.

The charcoal grill needs to be used outside away from the cottage. Do not move the charcoal grill. It is secured to the ground.
You must bring your own charcoal and matches.

Cancellation Policy:
100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before the arrival date. You must contact the owner directly to talk about a cancellation. If I can re-rent the cottage I will return your money minus Vrbo.com fees. I don’t have control of that.
