The space
This cozy and stylish three-bedroom, one-bath home features a unique Motown music theme decor throughout—celebrating the city’s rich musical legacy. The home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests, with a sofa sleeper in the living room, Smart TVs in all bedrooms, dining & living room, a large dining table that seats 8.

Enjoy warm evenings by the fireplace, or kick back and stream your favorite shows on TVs in every bedroom and common areas. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials for cooking and dining in, and for added fun, there’s a Record Player with a few vinyl records of Motown hits and others. There’s even a popcorn machine—perfect for movie nights or entertaining the family!

Each room is designed to feel warm, inviting, and comfortable—a perfect home away from home.

Step outside to a charming front porch with a bench where you can relax and enjoy the fresh air. Outdoor smoking is permitted on the porch.

This home is located just minutes from downtown Detroit, you’re close to all major event venues, restaurants, and attractions.

Whether you’re visiting for a concert, family trip, or a Detroit experience, this home offers the perfect mix of comfort, character, and convenience.

This home is a duplex featuring two separate three-bedroom, one-bath units and a large fenced in lot. Both units can be rented together with a 2-night minimum stay, comfortably accommodating up to 14 guests — perfect for larger families traveling together, or gatherings. Please message us directly with your request to check availability and pricing for your desired dates.

House Rules: Minimum Age Requirement
• The primary guest making the reservation must be at least 21 years old.
• Reservations made on behalf of individuals under the age of 21 are not allowed.
• Any parties or evidence of individuals under 21 in the home will result in immediate removal from the property, and no refund will be issued.
• All guests must adhere to this age requirement, and failure to comply may result in the cancellation of the reservation.

Please be sure to share a bit about the purpose of your stay and your plans while you’re here. This helps me ensure the property is the best fit for your needs, the guest limits are not exceeded and that everything goes smoothly during your visit. Your reservation may be canceled if this question isn’t answered so please answer this question before or after booking.

1. Please book for the correct number of guests. This is a 3 bedroom with a pull-out bed in the living room so the maximum number of guests that can be accommodated is 8, that’s 2 people per bed. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate more than 8 guests at this time.

2. Trash pick up is Friday mornings. If staying long term, please take the trash container to the front of the home on the street and return it to the backyard once the city dumps it.

3. Quiet hours are between 12am-7am

4. All guest must follow Michigan state laws that includes illegal substance in or around the home.


5. CLEANING FEE: You will be charged an extra cleaning fee if we find that the home was left unreasonably dirty after check out. Or if we find evidence of smoking in prohibited areas.

6. Please note that the home has security cameras outside of the home for security reasons and to monitor/enforce occupancy and pet rules.

7. Parties or events are not allowed. Your reservation will be canceled without refund if there's any reports or evidence of parties, or having more guests than allowed.

8. CHECK OUT TIME: 11AM Unfortunately we are usually unable to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs. It takes the entire allotted time to prepare the unit for the next guests therefore we cannot accommodate early arrivals or late checkouts on the weekends “Fri-Sun”
If you stay is during the WEEKDAYS or your stay is 3 OR MORE DAYS, send a message to the host for your request and we will let you know if we can approve your request.
Please check the unit before checking out to ensure that you didn't leave any items behind. We are not responsible for lost or items left behind.

9. THERMOSTATS: To save energy please turn the thermostats to 70 when leaving the home.

10. REMOTES/ MISSING ITEMS: There's a $20 charge for any lost remotes. You are more than welcome to use all items and amenities inside the Airbnb, Please do not remove or take any items from the home. You will be charged a fee for any broken or missing items found after check-out.

11. No pets allowed.

12. SMOKING RULES:
NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN THE HOME.
Smoking is allowed on the porch outside.
PLEASE KEEP INTERIOR DOORS CLOSED.
A $200 fee is charged if evidence of smoking is found inside the home.
