We chose this neighborhood because North Captiva Island offers a truly unique Florida experience—quiet, natural, and completely removed from the crowds. It’s a car-free island only accessible by boat or small plane, which means there’s a sense of peace and privacy that’s hard to find elsewhere. The beaches are rarely crowded, the wildlife is incredible, and the entire island feels like stepping back in time to “Old Florida.” The neighborhood around Mint Julep is especially special, with direct Gulf-front access and a front-row seat to the most beautiful sunsets. It's the perfect setting for families, couples, and groups who want to reconnect with nature and each other.
