Discover tranquillity in this charming 4 bedroom, 3-bathroom countryside retreat, ideal for families or groups seeking comfort and serenity. Nestled among rolling hills with cows in the meadow, this spacious home offers stunning rural views, open-plan living areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dedicated Pilates reformer room for your wellness needs. With expansive outdoor spaces perfect for stargazing or exploring nearby cafes and vineyards, this rural haven promises an unforgettable getaway.
Welcome to your home away from home. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms and multiple living spaces. This home is the perfect getaway for families or when visiting the Highlands for a country weekend away.
The home is light-filled and warm. 3 living spaces and a large alfresco to gather. Large outdoor area with lots of green space for kids or furry friends to run around.
Only a 3min drive to Moss Vale main street, or a 20 min walk. The township of Moss Vale is filled with great cafes, beautiful homewares and interiors shop fronts and lovely green spaces to immerse yourself in.
The space
You have the entire property to yourself. Our home features a spacious open-plan living and dining area, with a country modern styled fully equipped kitchen, with coffee machine, dishwasher, oven and stove top —ideal for family meals or easy holiday breakfasts. The pantry will be lightly stocked with your essentials e.g olive oil, salt & pepper, cofee and other miscellaneous items.
The dining/lounge opens up to the outdoors, so you’re never far from the fresh air and sunshine. There is a children's activity play room that will have some toys available to keep the kids entertained. This room also opens up onto the outdoor alfresco area.
Four bedrooms. Master bedroom features a queen size bed with double shower ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 is the guest bedroom which has a queen size bed, with the guest full bathroom adjoining, bedroom 3 has a queen sized bed and bedroom 4 has a queen sized bed. We also offer a SNOO for your little one to sleep should you request it. Please advise if you wish to have the SNOO set up ready for your stay. Linen is provided for all rooms.
The bedrooms are spread out around the house, there are 3 separate living spaces and 3 separate bathrooms. This allows for maximum privacy but also the perfect space for gathering in the open planned living area. Our property is perfect for family or friends visiting the Highlands.
Large modern kitchen and a 6 seat dining table. Perfect for having a meal with family or somewhere to retreat after a big day exploring the highlands.
Enjoy panoramic views of the rolling hills of Moss Vale and Sutton Forrest, with clear views of Mount Broughton, and the Mount Broughton golf course from the backyard. Sit and enjoy a morning coffee in the yard or enjoy a wine by the fire pit at dusk from the backyard. You might be lucky enough to have some fury guests join you from the meadow. Cows are often in the back paddock as well as Kangaroos.
The outdoor alfresco and firepit area are available to you, with the firepit area located at the back of the property. Wood is provided. Depending on the weather conditions, the outdoor lounge cushions will be put out for you prior to your stay however if there is rain forecast these cushions will be stored under the alfresco, should you wish to use them.
Optional: Bedroom 5 has a Your Reformer Pilates reformer machine that is available to use. The perfect addition for a girls getaway. Please advise if you wish to use this so we can set the room up perfectly for you. If you do not request this, the room will be locked.
Guest access:
Guests have access to the majority of our home. Excluding the garage and two of the wardrobes as this is for our own personal storage.
Should you have any questions you will be able to text me at any time.
Other things to note
House rules:
- There will be no parties or gatherings prohibited at the property and a strict NO SMOKING policy. Should cigarette butts/ash or cigarette smell be found/identified you will be charged an additional $350 cleaning fee.
- The external fire pit can only be used during winter, from June to August. It is council rules that outdoor fires are restricted from September to May. Wood is supplied, however if you choose to light a fire you are doing this at your own risk.
- Any kitchen items that have been used during your stay are to be washed, dried and put back in their place. When you are checking out, it is okay for you to stack the dishwasher and start the wash before you exit.
- Place all your rubbish and recycling in the appropriate bins, which are located outside of the garage (around the side)
- Do not drive or park any vehicles on the front lawn under any circumstance. You must stay on the driveway. Outside our yard, you may park on the nature strip by the road.
- Moss Vale is a family friendly town, we ask that you respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 9pm.
- Furry friends are welcome. Please message before booking to discuss this. We ask all our guests to contact us for approval of pets before booking and include your request in the reservation form as there is a pet fee of $110 per stay to cover the cost of extra cleaning and disinfection. Please do not allow your pets on the furniture.
*Check-in/Check-out - We cannot stress enough the importance of checking out on time. Our regular check-in time is after 2 pm and check-out time is before 11 am. If you wish to have an earlier check-in or later check-out, please reach out to us first.
*Changing of Dates Terms & Conditions
- We will always try our best to accommodate should you need to change your dates, however if check-in is less than 2 weeks away we may not be able to amend this.
- This is subject to approval and we reserve the right to decline any requests.
- Please note that there may be a surcharge to change the dates.
- Any changes to bookings are subject to approval and we ask all guests to reach out to us first.
* Check-in details will be sent either the night before checking in, or the morning of check-in for security reasons.
* We only provide 1 set of keys for each stay. We do not have extra sets.
