To clarify, we used the term “suite” in the description as this is common for similar listings. Our intention was never to mislead or suggest it was a main floor. The photos accurately show the space, and the pricing also reflects that distinction. For reassurance, the suite is a walkout basement built to the City of Calgary’s standards and certified as a legal suite. We apologize if the wording caused any confusion. The property includes a large backyard with gravelled areas located right next to the suite’s private entrance, which is open for all guests to enjoy. The laundry area is typically kept locked for short stays to help maintain the space, but as noted in the welcome guide, it can always be made available upon request. I send a check-in message after arrival to make sure everything is going smoothly. That’s always a great time to share any needs, so I can assist right away. The entrance involves a short flight of about seven steps, as it is a walkout basement. While the suite does not advertise accessibility features, I understand stairs can be a challenge for some guests, and I wish I had known so I could have helped. Thank you again for staying with us.
