Fountain Point - Brown Cottage

First established in 1889, Fountain Point is a timeless American summer resort located on the shores of Lake Leelanau in Northern Michigan. We have 19 family-style cottages and a 14 bedroom hotel. The hotel includes a sweeping front porch that offers shaded lakeside views, as well as a parlor game room with activities for guests to borrow. There are no TVs, no air conditioning, and very limited WiFi. If you are looking for a place to truly unplug and unwind with your family and friends, you will find it here.
Brown is the largest cottage Fountain Point has to offer, with 8 bedrooms and three bathrooms, as well as a large well-equipped kitchen and large dining room and living room sitting area. The master bedroom has a king bed and a bathroom, with a connecting room on the side containing one twin bed. Down a separate hallway there are 5 bedrooms that can be made into either 2 twin beds each or one king bed in each. An additional bedroom has a daybed with a twin trundle bed beneath it. The remaining two bathrooms are located towards the end of the hall. Brown cottage has a beautiful view of the fountain and the lake beyond from its screened-in front porch. Sleeps 13 people, and has its own picnic table, gas grill, and chaise lounges outside.
