Trout Lake is located on private property, in the municipality of Piopolis, Quebec, near the southern end of Lake Megantic. In the heart of the Eastern Townships, within the International Dark Sky Reserve of the nearby Mont Megantic National Park and Observatory, the property is remote but easily accessible and offers activities in all four seasons.
A clear dark night will show you more stars that you thought possible.
The centennial log cottage was built in 1896 and offers classic comfort with modern amenities.
The first floor has a large granite fireplace, living room space, card table, large dining table, bar, kitchen and toilet.
The second floor has 6 rooms (7 single beds, 2 double beds, 1 Queen), and a bathroom (shower and toilet).
The front porch offers a peaceful view of the lake. A canoe, kayak, rowboat, and peddle boat are available for use.
The backside has a large picnic table and gas bbq.
Flyfishing rights are available at an additional cost. Only flyfishing is permitted on this lake.
