Not Clean Whatsoever! We spent 2 hours cleaning this house to an appropriate standard before we could settle in. We had to re-make all of the beds. It was obvious that the carpets had not been vacuumed. There were no vacuum lines in the carpet & my kids stepped on toenails in the spare rooms. The spare room beds had fitted sheets, but no top sheets. The king bed in the primary suite had the top sheet placed first, with the fitted sheet over it. A bandaid was found in the king bed. The bedspreads had stains on them. None of the surfaces had been wiped: counters, faucets, sinks, toilets, floors, railings, nothing. The next morning we had to re-wash the majority of the cutlery, dishes, & cookware because there was grease and dried food on them. We were led to believe that this house was clean, based on the high ratings it had. We don't even have a high standard of clean with small children. It was a very disappointing stay and I expressed my frustration to the host. The host declined reimbursing us for the full cleaning fee but did offer a partial refund for the cleaning fee. I declined this since we did the cleaning, not the host. The host was responsive & location was convenient. IF the cleanliness improves, it would be a great rental.
