Beautiful chalet, newly renovated. Cozy but spacious. Dock and lake made for relaxing family time, fishing, campfires, and more. Owners were quick with responses when we had questions.

Great spot for a weekend away with the boys. Everyone in the group had a great time, proterty was exactly what we wanted and needed and even my pup had a great time.Would definitly come back with the guy or the family

Great communication from beginning to end. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Super clean. Great board games, water toys. Beautiful views. Very cozy. Hot tub was awesome on the cooler nights. Shower was nice and roomy. We loved our stay. Thank you Codi and Peter!

Lovely property, beautifully and thoughtfully updated. Great kitchen that is well equipped and mindfully designed. Comfortable beds and lots of spots to read, play games or even watch a movie. The perfect combo of rustic & modern.We had rain during our stay and enjoyed the views & birdwatching from the covered porch, and spotted lots of wildlife on a walk through the area. Lovely swim and lounge on the dock when the sun finally came out.A really great stay with thoughtful & responsive hosts and we'll look forward to going back soon!

Cozy cottage with everything you need away from home. The area and lake is a naturist dream. Owners (Codi & Peter) are attentive and quick to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Kennisis Lake Marina is a cool place to visit and the local store in West Guilford is only 20min away has just about anything you may need or have forgotten to bring from home. The are, lake and cottage are a true jem of the Haliburton Highlands.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in this charming A-Frame chalet on Kennisis Lake. The space is clean, cozy, and thoughtfully laid out—especially lovely with the stone fireplace and spacious deck. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the hot tub was a perfect way to unwind.Peter and Codi were prompt and clear in their communication, making check-in simple and hassle-free. The cottage felt private yet accessible—with a dock, a canoe/paddle boat, and even a bunkie adding extra flexibility.Whether lounging inside or exploring the area, we felt at home right away. It’s a wonderful place for friends or family looking to enjoy the Haliburton Highlands. Highly recommended.

Our weekend getaway to this cottage was nothing short of perfect. From the start, communication with the host was top-notch. Responses came within 10–15 minutes and were always friendly and helpful. The cottage itself was a dream. Tucked away in a peaceful, quiet location, it had a cozy, rustic charm with its wooden interior, balanced beautifully by a modern kitchen, bathroom, and appliances. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable, with stunning lakeside views. It’s a great spot for a couple, with or without a child and/or dog, but it could easily accommodate a group of 4–5 adults and 2–3 children. There’s no shortage of entertainment: from paddle boating and canoeing on the semi-private lake, to games like bean bag toss, darts, and board games. There's also a TV with all the streaming platforms if you're in the mood to unwind indoors. One unexpected bonus: absolutely no mosquitos or flies during our late August stay—such a treat! The firepit was a highlight in the evenings, and the BBQ made delicious lunches and dinners. We even used the wood-fired pizza oven, which turned out an amazing pizza. The jacuzzi was a great way to relax, and while the lake water was a bit chilly, it was refreshing after time in the sun or paddling around in the canoe. Neighbors were friendly as well, and their dog added to the friendly, welcoming vibe. Overall, this cottage was everything we hoped for and more. Highly recommended for a peaceful, activity-filled, and rejuvenating escape
