Custom built in 2024, the Raven Haven Loft offers 500 sq ft of living space. A 110 sq ft balcony provides a stunning 180-degree view of the Salish Sea and majestic Pacific Coast Mountains. The generous balcony, ample natural lighting and vaulted cedar ceilings offer an intimate Northwest experience. During your stay, you may be fortunate to see humpbacks and orcas passing through or eagles sparring with tangled talons.

The space
Enjoy winding down from a memorable day on the balcony by watching a majestic sunset or starry night and retiring in the comfy queen-sized bed.

The Scandinavian leather sofa and deck furnishings are excellent viewing areas so you won’t miss out on that potential whale tail slap or raven call.

Abundant outdoor opportunities are minutes away. Enjoy a stroll at Neck Point, Piper’s Lagoon or Linley Valley. For a splash try kayaking, paddle boarding, or free diving at Rocky Point, Departure Bay or Lantzville. Extensive mountain biking trails, scuba diving, fishing, sailing and whale-watching excursions are readily accessible.

Numerous wineries, ginneries and breweries, museums, theatres, artisan shops and farmer’s markets are located within Nanaimo and the surrounding area.

Other things to note
• Unfortunately the loft does not cater to children under 12 years old unless prior arrangements have been made
• Due to chronic allergies & severe asthma there are no pets, including service animals (Dr.'s order) allowed on the premises
• The loft is more suitable for two guests. However, it can accommodate four guests. Kindly note that the second bed is a sofa bed located in the living room
• Shared washer and dryer located downstairs in the clinic. This is available between 6 pm-10 pm. Directions on using this facility are on the rules and expectations QR code located on the dining table.
• There is one set of towels available for each guest unless it is a long-term stay
• There are three trash bins on the far right side of the house. (Blue bin=recyclables-no glass or plastic bags/ Black bin=nonreclables)
• Beach towels are available upon request
