Cozy Lakefront Basement Studio

Welcome to this cozy lake house! Situated on stunning Lake Clear just outside Eganville, this very large basement studio apartment, with private entrance, is complete with a queen bed, private 3 piece bath, seating and dining areas. The kitchenette area comes with a mini fridge, drip coffee maker (with supplies to get you started) microwave and toaster. Please note, there is no stove or oven, though long term guests (1 week plus) will be supplied with a hotplate. Bring your own prepared food or take-out from numerous yummy local restaurants. Full washer and dryer. When you’re not out enjoying all the local beauty, there is a 55” Samsung smart TV, Starlink internet, books and games.
Lake Clear offers year round activities. Summer has direct access to clear, warm, shallow water for many feet, perfect for play or fishing for Pike, Pickerel, Perch, Trout, Large and Smallmouth Bass, Whitefish and Ling.
During the warmer months, enjoy the lake and tie up your boat at our dock. The deck is perfect for barbequing your day's catch and watching the lake from the umbrella'd bistro set. Early morning coffee in the sunroom is perfect to watch ducks, geese, the occasional swan and listen to the loons. For those who enjoy the forest, watch the fireflies flit through the pines in the backyard gazebo on a warm night. Is there anything better than the lake??
Winter has ice fishing and snowmobiling. We even have a fish cleaning hut!
There are many local activities to be enjoyed, from the Bonnechere Caves to numerous hiking trails at all levels.
Eganville has numerous restaurants, a coffee shop, local craft and gift shopping, Foodland, LCBO, Library and area museum.
We are ideally suited for solo or couple travelers, Consideration may be given to up to two additional guests with a queen or king-sized air mattress for a fee ($25 each per night). Please note: there is a 2 night minimum stay for long weekends.
