Misleading listing, poor amenities and maintenance
Contrary to the listing at the time of my booking, the property DOES NOT come with the use of the covered garage. Upon arriving after a very long drive, we were very rudely chastened by the neighbour for not parking the car correctly, even though we were well within the property driveway and not blocking anything. Previous renters must've have rubbed them the wrong way and this has spilled over. DO NOT BOOK this place if you don't want to deal with this drama.Half the screen of the main TV gets progressively garbled up several minutes into use and remains so thereafter. DO NOT BOOK this place if you like watching TV with the full screen visible.The Internet is slow and drops out every 3-5 minutes. DO NOT BOOK this place if you like streaming your shows without frequent interruptions.The water pressure is poor. DO NOT BOOK this place if you like reasonably pressured showers.There were spiders/spider webs in the ensuite and main walk-in wardrobe. DO NOT BOOK this place if you prefer your spaces free of spider/webs.The sink in the shared bathroom was stuck shut, so the owner hired a handyman to fix it the first morning of our stay. Communication was a little delayed, but it was fixed at the end. DO NOT BOOK unless you don't mind maintenance done during your stay.Many of the above concerns were raised during my stay but only the last one was addressed. The operators (Airready?) are very inexperienced in this business, so I'd be extra careful booking with them.
