Thanks for the perfect review of "Coastal Cottage!" We are sorry the baby gates did not work out for you. We always keep some baby gates in reserve and had we known the ones in the home were not working out for you, we would have brought one by. Rest assured, the next time good fortune brings you back to our little slice of paradise, there is now a tension-based extra-wide baby gate that works for the top of the stairs in the primary living space!

We appreciate getting feedback from our guests and when items of concern are brought to our attention while in residence we can generally get them handled quickly as we have staff in the area on a daily basis. The vanity lights for the shared bathroom are on a three-way switch. On the occasion the lights do not come on, all one has to do is ensure the switches are either fully up or down and the lights will work. When our maintenance team looked at the hot water for the faucet, it seems someone had turned off the water supply so it was an easy problem to fix. All the dinnerware in the home is both microwave and dishwasher safe. When it comes to watching television, the set in the main living space on the second floor is connected to a cable box which is plugged into the HDMI1 port on the television. To watch traditional television, all one needs to do is ensure both the cable box and the television are turned on. The televisions in each of the bedrooms in the home are digital-ready and plugged directly into the wall. One can watch regular television on any bedroom television simply by selecting the "TV" input.

The community's deeded beach can get to be a little crowded, but we're fortunate to be very close (a mile away) from the largest public beach in Walton County – the Inlet Beach Regional Access. And on the other side of Inlet Beach is Camp Helen State Park. Between the two of them, there is over 4,000 linear feet of coastline! Crabby Steve's is a personal favorite of ours! Great food, good prices and the view is fantastic! Especially if you happen to be eating when some of the aircraft from the nearby bases take some low-flying passes over the coast!
