This was a great house to stay at right on the lake. Great fishing and swimming. One thing I would say is make sure you bring everything you need because stores and restaurants are not close. It was very relaxing to be away from all the traffic and just be in nature. My family had a very nice time.

We had a great time. The place had everything we needed to enjoy a week at the lake. It was nice to have access to some water toys. The view was great. If you plan to tie a boat or jet ski up, bring bumpers. We would stay here again.

Interior upgrades are great. Very comfortable sleeping. The new sea wall is nice and easy access to the dock. The dock is raw with exposed metal. If you’re bringing a boat bring your own bumpers and protection at tie down. Fishing in Rainy Creek is excellent and eagles will keep you company. We will be back.

Positives: The host did a great job communicating with me whenever I had any questions, the view was great (although if you sit in the chairs provided on the deck the railing blocks some of the view), the cove was awesome (nice and quiet) and good for fishing, nice neighbors that had friendly dogs who would come over to say hello, the provided lily pad, provided DVDs to watch, just being on the lake all day was great.Negatives: the dock needs some serious TLC (there were nails sticking out and our kids stepped on them a few times), the deck has some rotting boards and my foot almost fell through one but I can see the owner is in the process of replacing the boards, the lily pad had two big holes in it the boys kept slipping through, not a lot of plates or bowls (couldn't seen to find any bowls to put in the microwave), no WIFI (this was mentioned on the listing so I was expecting that), the house wasn't the cleanest and needs some TLC as well, grocery store was far away so plan on stopping beforehand.

Nice, they had stuff for us to use, the home was in a nice location.Even left us some DVDs to enjoy.Only critisim is being near the lake you can expect some bugs, but they had quite a bit.Otherwise property was nice and well maintained on a somewhat private lot.

Quiet, relaxing and family friendly

We had a wonderful stay at this house! It was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near the water, making access effortless. The catfishing was decent, adding to the outdoor experience. Inside, we appreciated the selection of movies and games, which made for great entertainment during our downtime. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely return. One small suggestion would be to consider switching the outdoor porch light to a yellow light, which might enhance the ambiance and keep bugs at bay.

The house was just mine and my husbands size. We loved that it had its own dock. The only down fall of the dock is that it needs some kind of lighting to It for night fishing. It could use some tlc in certain spots, paint touch ups. Looks like mold down by the washer and a little spot in the bathroom shower. All in All we had a great time. We would come back.

Great family time on the Lake

We drove 750 miles to explore a new place. We wanted a quieter area. This place was great. It was clean, head room for 5 people (one couch teenager), and we had loads of fun on the dock, fishing, kayaking, cooking, and playing music. There is no wifi, but phones worked OK, as needed. We rented a fishing boat from Sunnyside marina, and they picked me up from the dock. Theres a great marina about one mile away (by boat or kayak) Fishing was slow until we discovered jugging! I rigged up two jugs (left them there, in storage, for others). Once we used catfish bait we even caught them from the dock. Catfish tacos! The whole family enjoyed the place.

We had an enjoyable stay at this lake house. The home is spacious and had great views from the main living space and the deck. The covered dock made it so we could enjoy it at all parts of the day. The property manager answered our questions promptly. Renters should take note that this property is situated some distance from stores, so packing everything you need ahead of time will be a time saver. There is a gas station 20ish minutes away, but the nearest grocery stores and bait shops were about a 40 minute drive one way.Both the deck and the dock have some boards that could use replacing. The water is on some sort of a pump system that takes some time to get used to. The water pressure in the kitchen is very weak. Overall, I would recommend this property. The area is secluded the neighbors are very friendly, and the proximity to the water is a major plus!

Cool spot on the water. The kitchen utensils are pretty limited and worn, so I'd bring your own if you plan on being there for awhile. No Wifi as well which I missed on the listing. Again, cool spot on the water and fish were popping all over in the channel. Beware if there are big rain storms as the road back to the property flooded pretty bad. Luckily my ol man and I both had bigger trucks to get through.
