Lakeland Village was built in 1973, almost 50 years ago. It is a fabulously unique property, as it is right on the lake, with a beautiful beach, pier, boat buoys, 2 swimming pools, hot tub, firepits, and walking to groceries and dining. There are no other properties like this in South Lake Tahoe, and there will never be another, due to building restrictions around the lake. This was a great space for our family of 4 - just the right size. The pool and hot tub were very nice and the beach access was great! We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful home. The location has easy access to Heavenly shuttles, the bus route, and Lakelink. Grocery stores are convenient. The kitchen is well equipped. We made enchiladas and brownies! The neighborhood is very quiet and it is a quick walk to the beach. The laundry facilities in the next building were clean and convenient. The communications regarding check in and amenities were through and unobtrusive. Our tip for arrival is to get off the shuttle at Heidi's restaurant and enter the parking garage from that side. Saves a bit of a walk when carrying skis. We will be back next year!

Property was very clean, quiet at night; all as advertised. Like many places, electronics have bright lights at night so consider bringing a sleep mask. Plenty of clothes hangers! The management company was highly responsive. Would have been nice to have more plates and silverware so we didn't have to keep washing so often. Would also have been nice to have bigger ice trays, but we used the ice bucket to get ice from the main lobby. Very convenient location; close to Whole Foods and many restaurants. Pool near lake was nice and warm in early June.

The unit that we stayed in was refreshed nicely. The overall property of the condos, the lodge and the townhouses are are in need of being updated. There were two elevators with only one working. The only area for families in more than one condo to gather is either on the beach or a patio area—-all other areas only to be accessed by owners not renters. We had family members in multiple units, one of the townhouses that one of our family members rented had mice in the walls and they knew this from the mouse droppings and the food that was eaten on their counters. They did take care of it by setting traps for the mice. The location is very nice as it’s by a CVS a Safeway, a Whole Foods and eateries that you can walk to.
