I would describe this property as an experience. My family and I spent Thanksgiving weekend here while visiting my son. There are four amazingly well-appointed bedrooms, a huge, luxurious living room with comfortable couches and fireplace. The kitchen had EVERYTHING I needed to cook for 12. The TV room across from kitchen is just as comfortable for watching TV or playing games. The location has views of the Thames River and the Long Island Sound. The sunsets were spectacular. Absolutely amazing.

We very much enjoyed our weekend in Groton. The host reached out to let us know the instructions to access the house. When we arrived everything was well lit and easy to access. The host left a book with pertinent information and restaurant recommendations. The house had everything we needed to cook clean and have a comfortable stay. We strongly recommend this beautiful property.

THE BEST

This home had to have been the best rental I have ever stayed at. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you needed. The house offered amazing fews of the water and golf course. The porch was so comfortable to sit at in the morning and then in the evening when the sun set. We had a wonderful time. Hope to return in the future.

This was the most beautiful home. We used it as the place for our bride to dress and take pictures for a wedding at the Branford House (a gorgeous venue) which is 1/4 mile from the house. I would recommend it as a bridal suite for any couple getting married in Groton or the surrounding area. The host was amazing. Friendly and helpful. And the house was CLEAN! I highly recommend! 10 out of 10.

We were delighted and awed when we arrived and opened the door to this exquisite Groton home. Everything about the house was well appointed. Of our many stays at a VRBO or the like, the kitchen was amply supplied with utensils, dishes, and cookware. We prepared all our meals while there. There was plenty of room to spread out and ample space to sit with our family around a table to eat whether at the dining table or on the back porch. Communication, when the power went out due to an accident in town, was swift. The owners supplied us with flashlights, portable lanterns and a battery pack the serviced a table lamp and the charging of our devices. We had a kerfuffle with an oven chirping. That issue was addressed. And because the kitchen is so well appointed we used the other oven. The place was immaculate. The washer/dryer set-up (laundry room) is a Virgo's delight! The bedrooms were to notch and bathrooms impeccable and plenty.We highly recommend this VRBO. BTW there were beach passes, though we didn't use them due to inclement weather. Everyone in our family enjoyed our stay there.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful waterfront home! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible views—the whole back of the house looks out onto the water, which made the whole house feel peaceful and relaxing.I stayed here with my parents and my family, including our two children, and it was the perfect getaway for all ages. The kids loved having space to play while the adults enjoyed the views and time together. The home was comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for an stress-free stay.The location is unbeatable—waking up to the water every morning felt like a dream. We made so many special memories here, and my parents kept saying how perfect it was for a family trip.We highly recommend this property and would love to come back again!

This home is stunning and we had a wonderful stay! We came for an event at the Coast Guard Academy which was about 15 minutes away. The home was very well stocked and it was quiet and relaxing. The owners are very accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Lovely inside and out. Especially enjoyed the porch. Ate meals outside and also just sitting and counting the ferries going up and down the Thames River. Enjoyed walking in the neighborhood. A peaceful location with easy access to Mystic.

Quick Family Weekend

We loved this house! We were in town for a wedding, so we didn't spend as much time as we would have liked! The roooms were large and sunny, the views are incredible and the porch/deck overlooking the water and golfcourse was large and roomy! This is an ideal location for a group!

The owners of the property are such lovely people. They are so kind and made our stay very welcoming. The house is amazing. The location is beautiful. We can walk to the water and the sunrises and sunsets made for such a peaceful ambience. We would definitely stay there again.
