The Eagle's Nest was designed for corporate meetings/events, golf/ski groups, and destination family and friend gatherings. The Jo Daviess County overnight maximum occupancy for The Eagle's Nest is 16 people (including children). This home is NOT pet-friendly.

The Eagle's Nest is the largest private vacation rental home in the area with its extraordinary 12,000-square-foot interior.  It is one of the most exclusive and sought-after premier vacation rental properties in Galena. It is a one-of-a-kind "must-see/must-stay" property. As you enter the great room on the main level, you immediately feel the spaciousness and luxury. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide natural lighting and panoramic views of our surrounding wooded acreage. The great room's focal point is the floor-to-ceiling limestone wood-burning fireplace (wood supplied). The warmth of leather furniture surrounds it, as well as sizeable distinctive area rugs and natural hickory hardwood floors. To the left is an intimate library nook. The main level has an open-concept floor plan with twin dining tables (seating for 16) and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen. The L-shaped granite counter (seat 12) is perfect for buffet-style serving. Step out onto the 115-ft. main-level wood deck (tables and seating for 16), where you will find a 52-inch gas grill. Enjoy your favorite beverage, a barbeque, and the outdoors.

The Eagle's Nest has 8 bedrooms: 4 bedrooms on the main level and 4 bedrooms upstairs.  Two bedrooms on the main level near the kitchen are handicap accessible, each with one king bed, a walk-in shower, and a soaking tub.  The remaining 6 bedrooms all feature 2 king beds. Every bedroom is decorated with Galena-themed décor, custom coverlets, pillow shams, and window coverings with a room-darkening feature. You will find extra blankets, down comforters, and pillows. Each en-suite bathroom has a jetted tub, two sinks, and a walk-in custom-designed tiled shower with 9 ft. ceilings. There is ample room in the lower level (4000 square feet) for your group to enjoy games, movies, and more.  The room has a 70" HD TV, pool table, poker table, air hockey, foosball, and ping-pong table. You will find a 27' bar with (seating for 13), three pub tables (seating for 12), a bar sink, dishwasher, beverage ware, an additional full-size refrigerator, and, available for your convenience, a laundry room. The southwest wall opens to the 70'patio with 4 double sliding glass doors. This will welcome guests onto the furnished patio for alfresco drinks and dining.  Enjoy a walk on the designated path through the private wooded property, or gather your friends/family and play volleyball on the sand court. At the end of your day, enjoy the eight-person hot tub under cover in the gazebo located just off the patio or roast marshmallows over the open firepit. Please note there are exterior security cameras at this property.

When you book a home with us, we will require 30% down; this is a payment, not a deposit. The total balance is due 14 days before check-in. If you cancel before the 14 days, you will receive the first payment minus a $35 cancellation fee. At the 14-day mark, your stay will become non-refundable, and dates cannot be adjusted. NOTE: You must sign an electronic rental agreement when booking. You must be 25 or older when booking and present during the entire stay. Your payments will automatically be processed to the card you place on file when booking. Our cancellation policy is not flexible. We highly recommend travel insurance. Damage Protection and travel insurance are offered when booking and up until 15 days before check-in.

**Check-in details are sent to the email on file three days before your arrival. These include the address, access code, and other pertinent home/area information. Early check-in is never guaranteed and can only be considered the night before or the morning of your arrival. The check-in details will cover this process. Check-in for this home is 4 p.m., and check-out is 10a.m.
