Historic NEWLY RENOVATED Apartment Right ON The Virginia Creeper Trail Overlooking The Holston River. Apartment location is the entire second floor. No need to drive to the trail. You are on it!! Just step out the door and get on your bike. Just a few steps away across the spacious parking area is the Holston River with a Gazebo for picnics by the water. Fantastic Restaurants in both Abingdon and Damascus. Make sure to visit The Barter Theatre while you are in town.
Apartment is equipped with High speed Wi-fi. All televisions are SmartTV's, perfect for accessing your Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime accounts, etc. Linens and towels provided.
Bring your bike, fishing pole, kayak and don't forget your camera! Winery is walking or biking distance , only 0.6 miles away. Barter Theater is a short 10 minute drive. Perfect location for the Yeti 50 and Yeti 100. But hurry, those dates book quickly! Enjoy the outdoors in scenic Southwest Virginia.

Beautifully renovated space in Historic Alvarado. The space features a brand new King size bed with luxurious linens... super comfy and cozy! There is a flat screen TV in the bedroom perfectly positioned to watch if you want to lounge around and catch a good movie. On the other side of the bedroom is a cozy chair to relax in and read a good book. A large 2nd level private porch awaits you just outside your bedroom door. Great to watch the river, the bikes riding by, and the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening while listening to the sounds of tree frogs in the distance.
The second Flat Screen TV is in the living room along with the comfortable oversized leather sofa, loveseat and ottoman. All TV's have access to most streaming services and Netflix. Terrific WIFI and boosted cell phone signal is included at this property. If you feel the need to get some work done while you are here, by all means, bring your laptop!
The spa inspired bathroom has been newly renovated and includes big fluffy towels, Shampoo, conditioner and soaps. The Kitchen includes a cute shabby chic farm table for 2, A small stove, Mini fridge, Microwave, Keurig coffee, plenty of snacks,and bottled water.

The entire apartment is yours to enjoy, and also the shared picnic tables outdoors between the cottage and the main building.

There is a very spacious parking area in front of the building. Guests of Alvarado Apartment have access to carport parking on the left side of the building right near the entryway to the apartment.
