The Smith House is perfect for multiple-families who are visiting for the Cooperstown Dreams Park, for extended-family gatherings, or for large groups who are here to enjoy the beautiful scenery and everything else that Cooperstown has to offer.

This beautiful 5 bedroom, 4,500 square-foot home has something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Gather as a whole group in the Great Room or Basement Entertainment space, or enjoy a quieter experience in our Billiard Room, Keeping Room, or out on our spacious Deck.

Get outside to enjoy the hot tub and fire pit, or play a night game on the illuminated whiffle ball field. This secluded property offers 17 acres for nature lovers to explore to get outside and enjoy Upstate New York.

Amazing stay with family (whiffle ball included!)

Excellent precheck in communication from the host. Checked in to the Smith House greeted by fresh donuts and local coffee. As my wife said, “that really made it feel so welcoming!”Ample room for our party of 11 ranging from 9-83. Perfect location for grandparents on the ground floor while kids enjoyed bunk beds. Fierce competition all weekend long on pool and pinging tables. Relaxed in the amazing hot tub every night. However , The highlight - far and away - was the adults vs kids whiffle ball game played in the backyard private field (Smith field!). Complete with lights and a scoreboard, the adults rose victorious for a game we’ll never forget.Oh and it’s super convenient to the HOF (the actual reason we came). Thanks for a phenomenal stay. We loved it!

Upstate Winter Relaxation

We had a lovely time staying at the Smith House for a week during a brutally cold stretch in January. The multiple fireplaces/wood stoves kept the place toasty and oh so comfy while we worked (great WiFi), ate and relaxed - in between visiting upstate family. Cooperstown is quiet this time of year, but that suited us fine for this trip. The home is really lovely, exactly as described, and the whole process was simple. Highly recommend!

Beautiful House and Location!

Our stay at the Smith House was absolutely amazing. This is by far the best VRBO our family has stayed in. The house was perfect for our family to gather for our daughters wedding which was held at the Farmers Museum. The layout, rooms, and property, exceeded our expectations. Loved this house!

Great house for more than one family!

We had five different family groups staying here on the one house as our boys and a few husbands were staying at Cooperstown Dream Park. Two of the Dads enjoyed cooking in the spacious, open kitchen while the Mom’s and kids played outside, went for walks, played games or lounged around the house. The pool table was a huge hit as we experienced a lot of rain while we were there, but when it wasn’t raining we were outside on the wiffle ball field or on the deck enjoying our time together. There were plenty of toys and games provided so you don’t need to bring your own. Our only hiccups were quickly resolved and made right by the owner who was easy to reach when needed. We appreciated the extra chairs in the garage as some of our group flew to NY (from MO) and needed chairs to watch our boys. This house has everything to offer a large family or multiple family’s. We just wish we could have stayed longer than the week we were there.

The Smith house was the perfect choice for our group during our week at dreams park. The location was so close to the fields and in a beautiful, quiet setting. The house is spacious inside and the game areas were perfect for keeping the kids busy during downtime. The owner was very helpful as well and easy to work with. Would highly recommend this property!

This house is amazing. Great location for games at Cooperstown. Beds were so comfy we bought some for our own home. Only complaint is I’m glad I bring a blanket with me when I travel because there aren’t extras in the house. This house was worth it!

This is my childhood home, which we built in 1992, moved away from in 2004, and we purchased again in 2020. Having this home back in the family is the fulfillment of a long-held dream. I grew up here, I love it here, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share it with all who may visit.
