Our stay at Kirstin’s property was outstanding. The house has a welcoming, unique vibe upon arrival. This is a vintage home, full of character, but updated to modern standards. The bedroom is roomy with ample storage and an attractive non-functional fireplace. The living room has several comfortable seating areas, another non-functional fireplace made of lovely emerald coloured ceramic tiles, and a television. The kitchen was outstanding. There was natural window light from three sides, a door to the sun deck, a modern refrigerator, and a modern gas range stove which is one of the best we have used. Every piece of cookware, utensil, and type of cutlery needed to cook was provided. There was also a coffee maker, French press, and Bialetti alongside coffee. The dining area seated two people but it could accommodate a third person in a pinch. The bathroom is snug, but functional with a claw-foot tub. The suite’s decor was wonderful. There were several original paintings; a collection of old-timey sewing machines; coffee pots, etc. atop the cabinets; and original hardwood floors with area rugs throughout. There was a WalMart, Save-On Foods, and liquor store amongst other useful shops within a few minutes walk from the Vrbo as well as a park right at the end of the block. The parking was free and easy being on the street right in front of the house. Best of all, there are cats and dogs who are happy to make new friends with inclined guest.
