Cozy holiday home

Well maintained cozy holiday home. Location is beautiful — far from the city hustle bustle . Well stocked pantry.Perfect for a family of 6 to have a quite holiday.

The house is wonderful , sadly for this visit the weather was not great so we didn’t really get the opportunity to explore the property or area.However we were comfortable and warm in the house Our host was very hospitable and understanding when we had to change our schedule twice

Exceeded our expectations!

On top of the beautiful drive, we were pleasantly surprised and pleased by how beautiful and beautifully kept the property was. The house was well cleaned and maintained and had everything we needed for the stay. It was also nice and warm by the individual room heaters upon our arrival. We also utilised the wood fire chimney and used the wood provided, to make the place even cosier. The landscapes surrounding the house were breathtakingly beautiful. We enjoyed waking up to the beautiful scenery and having our morning coffee by the glass as it was cold outside. We would love to come here again when it’s a little warmer. Please, keep this listing available!The key safe was a little tricky to find, but property management were very helpful and assisted us to find them.We enjoyed a few days of activities in the surrounding areas as we had planned our trip before leaving, but the activity guide provided (at the property) has a full range of activities for all tastes and I found it would be very helpful for guests. Thank you for having us!

Amazing home but attention to details is needed

I stayed with my husband and 3 kids for 4 nights. Overall the home has been excellently built and taken care of, the wood heater is cosy and warm and there are high end appliances throughout the home. However, the cleaners didn’t do an amazing job which i believe is a reflection on the property management.There was no key in the lock box as instructed and we struggled to get access to the property which wasn’t an amazing experience after a long drive. The garbage bins outside were overflowing and almost every item in the kitchen was dirty and needed cleaning before we used it. Spatulas were covered in oil and plates had food leftovers on them. The fire wood had not been restocked as we expected so we had to go and buy some from town. The pantry and cupboards were left messy inside and would be nice to just have it presented nicely. If these detail things can be taken care of it would make for a much more pleasant experience.

Our cleaner is very apologetic about forgetting to put the key back in the lockbox this time. We also spoke to her about double checking the pantry and cupboards to check plates and utensils are clean. The homeowner is responsible for removing the rubbish, who we have contacted and spoken to about this. They also drop off wood being nearby on the property. We are more than happy to reimburse you for the wood cost, we will reach out privately to you to discuss further, Again we are very sorry about this. The Book Regional Team
