The best mini break ever
A lovely cabin on the edge of the water! Away from the hustle bustle of the city with beautiful bird life and farm animals all around. A perfect spot to come unwind with a book, or fishing rod or even just your tramping kit.
You will simply love it.
So pleased you enjoyed yourselves here. Thank you for the kind words. Best wishes.
What a little cabin at the beach
This place was in the prime location so close the the water! The cabin was as it stated and just big enough for out young family.
Thanks for a great stay and making it an easy and seemless booking

Very basic accommodation in the middle of a fantastic scenario
Nice and cosy
This is a Fantastic place to get away from the noise and busyness of city life.
It has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday and the views are stunning.
Thank you to our hosts Rex and Rae for a lovely weekend we will definitely be back.
Beautiful spot
Beautiful setting for our overnighter at this property. Keen to come again. Thanks
Glad you liked it here and thank you for saying so. Yes, Batley's a great place for a getaway. Thank you for leaving out place in great shape. See you again we hope.
Tutu and the Mullet
Bately is Breathtaking. She welcomed me with open arms - stories were whispered on the winds of past times, Pakeha and Maori confronting differences, searching for equilibrium, the Otamatea River knew no difference - she gave with abundance and took mercifully. I made my Wai Rakau, maori native herb medicine, looking out the window and welcoming the rain as it cleansed - recalling the beautiful walk in the morning, acknowledging the Tutu on the cliffs and beach edge healing Papatuanuku. A mullet jumped in my plate early the next mornin - I savoured every delicious mouthful - thank you Rex. When Rae rocked up to bid me farewell - i secretly smile. Wow, this Wahine wears a dressing gown and gum boots - and Mama Mia she’s gorgeous. I am blessed!
Thank you! The most charming and entertaining review in all time. Loved it. I've also seen guests wandering the waterfront first thing in their dressing gowns - it's something you can do at our special beach - and works well for star gazing on clear nights. Glad you liked the fish - your dinner was part of the the second mullet catch of the season. Thank you for your generosity - it was a pleasure having you here. Travel safe and enjoy composing a new life chapter.
