Kürzlich renoviert, unser Bach (eigentlich eher ein Strandhaus!) Es bietet eine herrliche Aussicht, tolle Sonne und einen Ort zum Entspannen. Dies ist der perfekte Ort für einen Sommerurlaub.

Für 7 Personen ist dies ein moderner und sauberer Ort für Familien und Freunde, um die gesamte Kapiti-Küste zu genießen. Sky-TV, Grillplatz und Schaukel für die Kleinen laden zum Entspannen ein! Eine voll ausgestattete Küche und eine zusätzliche Küchenzeile im Erdgeschoss sind ein praktischer Luxus.

Unser Bach ist nur 100 Meter vom Strand, dem Queen Elizabeth Park, einem Kinderspielplatz, einem Café und einem Restaurant entfernt und der perfekte Ort, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen.

A perfect holiday

We have had such a wonderful time. The bach has lots of interesting spaces, not least being the bath on the roof which we just loved as night descended. We also loved the beach, just down a walkway, which was safe for the children and great for walking down. We felt that the bach was a 'proper' bach in that we could relax and enjoy it. Thank you very much for having us.

Great 3 bedroom house. Quiet neighbours. Not overly clean. We did have to clean some of the rooms before we made beds etc. Kitchen was well stocked with all plates, cutlery etc.. lovely views

Home away from home

We loved our stay here. Perfect for what we wanted to do. Beautiful inside and out, great view of Kapiti Island. Only thing i could pick up was that the counters and front of the cupboards were dirty, also some spots on the kitchen floor had drops of food/sauce on it. Other than that it was perfect.Other that that it was perfect.

Lovely house

The house was a lovely place for my family too spend Christmas. The large living area meant that everyone had space (especially with the rainy days that we had). The proximity to the esplanade and QEII Park were great for walks. Really nice place overall. Communication with property owners was super easy, with an the information we needed.

Relaxing weekend

The bach was comfortable and located close to the beach. It was a good spot for a short weekend stay, and stargazing from the rooftop bath is special. Compared to some other Kapiti locations there isnt much else with walking distance, e.g. cafes, park. If staying here with children of any age, you may want to bring your own rubbish bins. There is just one small one for the entire house.

Overall enjoyable

Nice place, just a few points: smelt musty, difficult to open & shut downstairs bedroom windows to air the place. Upstairs toilet, floors and fridge dirty. Please buy new frying pans, I had to borrow one to use at your place cos yours are wrecked. otherwise spacious and enjoyable.

Crash pad

We wanted somewhere to stay close by to a dying relative, and this fitted the bill nicely. We had adequate facilities to get by for this purpose. The only trouble we had was that the neighbor threw a very loud party on Saturday night. We had to phone the police to try to shut them down. Despite the owner of the property trying to be helpful, providing a contact number for the neighbour and declaring this hadn't happened before, the Police told us that they already had the details of the neighbor due to having complaints filed about him before. Wouldn't stay there again solely because of this.

Great place for a girls night away

Great place - relaxed…is as described - not perfect but a great back! Loved sitting in the sun in the day room with the windows open - so peaceful. Could hear the ocean. A five minute trot to the sea - lovely. We did not use the outside bath or balcony as was a bit separate but would be lovely up there with candles and some music and lights.

This truly is a home from home and very well laid out. Minutes from the beach and some lovely fish n chips nearby, too. Super easy check in process and great facilities. Weekend away

Great location, great home. Had everything we needed. Was a bit dirty/ dusty floors on arrival, however previous guest may not have cleaned after and not sure when owners check on it. Vacuume cleaner on top floor could be better to ensure good cleaning afterwards. Overall great home though. Thank you

Great

It was a wet and wild weekend that we stayed, so couldn’t enjoy all the wonderful aspects of this place. Still a great stay and a lovely, comfortable and warm place to retreat to at the end of our busy days. Plenty of space for all 7 of us to sleep and spread out. Not far from local shops and amenities and a quick trip to Wellington now with Transmission Gulley. Would love to come back in summer!
