Das Kincaid Cottage liegt in einer offenen, grĂŒnen Landschaft mit atemberaubendem Blick auf die angrenzenden Berge und den Pazifischen Ozean. Dieses eigenstĂ€ndige Ferienhaus bietet alles! Die Zimmer sind gerĂ€umig und luxuriös eingerichtet und verfĂŒgen ĂŒber ein eigenes, gut ausgestattetes Badezimmer. Beide Schlafzimmer haben superking Betten, von denen eines in zwei Einzelbetten aufgeteilt werden kann. Wenn Sie mit einem Baby reisen, können Sie unser Kinderbett kostenlos nutzen. Wenn ein Babybett benötigt wird, geben Sie dies bitte bei der Buchung an. Wir haben auch einen Hochstuhl ohne Aufpreis.
Der Wohn- und Essbereich verfĂŒgt ĂŒber einen TV, einen DVD-Player und eine digitale Box mit freier Sicht, eine kleine Bibliothek zum Umtauschen von BĂŒchern, eine große Auswahl an DVDs (einschließlich Kinder-DVDs) sowie einen Spieleschrank mit Brettspielen, Karten, Kinderspielen und Puzzles .
Es gibt natĂŒrlich eine voll ausgestattete KĂŒche mit KĂŒhlschrank / Gefrierfach, GeschirrspĂŒler, Backofen / Herd und Mikrowelle. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Gasgrill (ein Weber BabyQ) auf der Veranda der HĂŒtte.

Die einheimischen Gastgeber Jessica und Greg sind Ihnen gerne mit Empfehlungen fĂŒr einige der vielen AktivitĂ€ten in der Umgebung behilflich. Die bekanntesten sind Walbeobachtung und Schwimmen mit Delfinen. Es gibt auch eine große Auswahl an ausgezeichneten CafĂ©s und Restaurants in der Gemeinde. Kaikoura ist eine einzigartige Stadt, in der die Berge auf das Meer treffen. Hier finden Sie eine Vielzahl von Wildtieren. Es gibt viel zu sehen und zu tun; mindestens ein paar tage aufenthalt wert. Das Cottage befindet sich auf dem GelĂ€nde der historischen Kincaid Lodge, die ihre europĂ€ische Geschichte bis ins Jahr 1856 zurĂŒckverfolgen kann. Dies mag fĂŒr unsere internationalen Besucher jung erscheinen, ist aber fĂŒr Neuseeland alt. Der Kincaid-Lauf wurde nach Kincaid in Stirling, Schottland, benannt, wo die zweiten Besitzer wohnten. Das bestehende Gehöft wurde 1903 fertiggestellt. Kincaid Cottage wurde 2008 fertiggestellt. Jessica und Greg freuen sich darauf, ihr StĂŒckchen Landparadies mit Ihnen zu teilen.

The best place for a perfect restful holiday.

A great place away to have peace and quiet, lovely sea and mountain views, and set in a nice garden. The cottage was cozy and comfortable and Jessica had left little treats for us. She was a great host. Handy to all Kaikoura has to offer.

Cosy cottage with stunning views!

We had the most lovely stay at Kincaid cottage. It was cosy but had plenty of space and was well equipped with homely touches. The views of the mountains were absolutely stunning and also to the sea. Jessie was an amazing host, so welcoming and helpful, communication was very prompt and easy. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others :)

Booking and communication was quick and fluid. Jessica was a perfect host. The cottage suited us for location, (for work), and the ability to accommodate three of us, and our vehicles. Very luxurious, we did not want for anything at all. The surrounding views a bonus. Will definitely return.

Very friendly and informative welcome. Loved the views at the property. Enjoyed the township, especially The Pier pub and the souvenir shops. The house was spotless and kitchen was very neat and organised. Generous supplies both utensils and food. The en-suite could do with a larger vanity but this place was one of the highlights of our NZ trip to both islands.

Absolutely Gorgeous!

When we saw this property on Stayz we loved how it looked, but once we arrived it was so much more. Delightful property

The warmest welcome and kindest hospitality, in a stunning location. Jessie was wonderful throughout - was so thoughtful in providing age-appropriate toys and entertainment for our little ones. There were many tears when we had to drag them away after our 4 night stay. Yummy veggies picked from the garden and the most delicious apples picked with my son straight from the tree. A truly beautiful spot, we hope we will be back someday.

Perfect for our stay in Akaroa

We spent two nights in Kincaid cottage, which was a short drive to Kaikoura, and it suited our needs perfectly. The cottage was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Situated in a peaceful rural outlook and we were able to enjoy a great walk to Hapuka beach and the view to the snow topped mountains was stunning. Jessie is a wonderful host and her communication about check-in, etc was excellent. We have no hesitation in recommending Kincaid Cottage to anyone looking for quality accommodation near Kaikoura and we woill happily stay again if we return to the region.

Wonderful everything!!!

Great cottage overlooking the mountains and sea. Jess was a great host providing fresh flowers in every room, fresh fruit and veggies from her garden and eggs from her chickens. Flowers in every room, fresh eggs and herbs as well as an invitation to pick what was available from the garden. Amazing cottage in a perfect location

The cottage felt like home from the minute we stepped through the door. Jessie went above and beyond to be the perfect host. From farm fresh eggs and milk in the fridge on our arrival to fresh flowers and herbs from the garden and an invitation to pick fruit and vegetables during our stay, nothing was too much trouble. The beds were comfortable and the stars at night were amazing. The view over the flax to the mountains was just beautiful. We could not fault this property and would happily recommend it and would stay again if the opportunity arose. It’s only seven minutes’ drive to the centre of town for the dolphin encounter and other facilities yet feels so spacious and relaxed. The perfect place for a visit to Kaikƍura!

Unforgettable stay

I don't have enough space in this review to really convey how special this place is. The view is absolutely spectacular - snow capped mountains on one side and distant ocean view on the other. You can see the sunrise and the sunset from the same wraparound porch. The curious cows came over to greet us any time they saw us:) Jessie was in contact immediately and made herself available for any questions or concerns at any time. The added touches were the cherry on top - fresh flowers in every room, fresh eggs from the chickens, and a garden with potatoes, herbs and salad greens at our disposal. Not to mention sheep/goat and chicken food to feed the resident animals! Just as much fun for four adult women as it would be for a family with children. We were genuinely sad to leave. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. This is such a beautiful cottage in such a stunning location. Jessica was absolutely lovely to communicate with about our trip and during. Spectacular stay - we'll certainly be back!

The Kincaid Cottage and hosts Jessica and Greg were the highlight of our return visit to the Kaikoura area. Jessica was immediately in contact upon our booking, offering local tips about dinner reservations and attractions, and promptly answered all our questions. The self-contained cottage itself is outfitted with luxury linens, fully equipped kitchen and well-stocked pantry. It is perfect for the independent traveler, and offered a spectacular view of the snow-capped Southern Alps on one side and the coast on the other. We immediately noticed all the extra touches - fresh lavender tucked into the towels, fresh flowers on the window sills, eco-friendly products and convenient recycling bins. Even a jar of freshly cut herbs from the kitchen garden. This was our +/- 24th trip to the South Island - a convergence of old friends that was made even more memorable by our stay at the lovely cottage and its surrounding fields. Beautiful accommodation and amazing hospitality

My partner and I had such a relaxing stay- Jessica really had thought of absolutely everything to make our visit want for nothing, from fresh flowers and herbs from the garden, to a range of books and DVDs, to lots of info about the local area and all sort of games. Everything was beautifully presented and the house itself is in a stunning location. Super special place

Our stay here was absolutely magical. The cottage is stunning and Jessie the most amazing host. Arriving was so fun as we discovered all the special wee surprises she had left for us. Fresh flowers in all the rooms, chocolate and free range eggs in the fridge, the most amazing tea collection and so many cool surprises for kids. Us adults loved feeding the hippy sheep and bossy goat! The cottage was immaculate and warm and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommend waking early for the sunrise. The beds very comfortable and the master bedroom was so luxurious with an ensuite, walk in wardrobe, beautiful cast iron and brass bed and French doors with views to the snow cap mountains. This cottage would suit a romantic getaway, girls weekend, family holiday or something special like a wedding. We can not recommend it enough and can not wait until we can stay again.

A 5 star luxury property in paradise

This luxurious 5 star property is situated in a dream location at the foothills of the snowy Kaikoura ranges and with the dramatic expanse of the Pacific Ocean in front of you. This luxurious property is large, well appointed with the interior décor warm and upscale with very comfortable beds and sensational mountain/sea views from each room. Our hosts Jessie, Greg and Annie(daughter) were very friendly, warm and such a pleasure to deal with. Lots of personal touches such as fresh flowers in every room and a well stocked kitchen along with an amazing collection of fresh herbs and fresh farm eggs. Also on the property are a Tennis court, Petanque Court for guest use and three very friendly pet farm animals whom my 5 year old daughter very much enjoyed feeding. Our plans are to return as much as possible. Such peace and tranquility!
