Superb stay

Taste on the Lakeshore - Riverview Suite was the perfect place for a quiet anniversary celebration. The home is elegant and well-appointed, and the suite, including bed, bathroom and sitting area, was clean, comfortable and lovely. Jim and Dennis were around to offer suggestions for things to do/places to go but were not intrusive. They made us a delicious breakfast both days and really have thought of lots of little details to make their guests' stay a pleasant one. We will definitely be back and will suggest it to friends and family.

So beautiful!

Taste on the Lakeshore is a gorgeous property right on the Kalamazoo River! The home is 5400 square feet of amazingness! Jim and Dennis are the sweetest pair of gentlemen with a love of art and all things beautiful, and their home reflects this. The rooms are comfortable with gorgeous views of the river and stunning sunrises to wake you. The gourmet breakfasts we were served, were delicious, and had a lovely presentation. Conversations were easy and so interesting! The river is great for fishing and relaxing by the fire pit with the water feature in the back yard. We absolutely cannot wait to go back!

Wonderful!

My husband and I came to stay for our anniversary and had an amazing time! The property is so peaceful and comfortable, and just a short drive from all the shops and restaurants in the area. Dennis and Jim were so kind and accommodating - and breakfast was delicious! We would definitely return!

Wonderful Few Days

A fantastic few days getaway. The property is wonderful and the location is perfect - right on the river with great patio and outdoor space. I can't say enough good things about our hosts Dennis and Jim - they are the epitome of hospitality. The breakfasts cooked up by Dennis are worth going for alone! Our accommodation was spotless and very well appointed. We could not have asked for better.

Owners live on the property and provide concierge services to make your stay easy and memorable. Off-street parking, private living/dining room, private bath with shower, mini-refrigerator, and a queen-sized bed make the Riverview Suite a home away from home. This suite occupies the entire second floor of the home and overlooks the common area. The photos help to paint a partial picture, but seeing is believing. The owners are very proud of their 4-year "Super Host" status and will do everything they can to make your vacation to the Saugatuck/Douglas area a spectacular experience.
