Come spend the summer at DOG FRIENDLY (with permission, 1 dog) Alewife cottage, within walking distance to the best beaches in Eastham (First Encounter and Cole Road). The property is also 200 yards from the trail head to the town's Wiley Park with several lakes and swimming spots. The area is known for its walking, and accessibility to Orleans via backroads which avoids traffic.

This beautiful 2 bedroom 1100 sq. ft cottage features cathedral ceilings in living room and bedrooms, fir floors, laundry, outdoor shower, a comfortable deck, beautiful furnishings, all natural Talleley latex hypo allergenic beds, and fully stocked kitchen with soapstone counters. We will provide bed linens and towels for a fee, beach chairs, and hand towels are on property. There is no need to pack and lug.

Dogs must be house broken and on flea / tick medicine. $250 nonrefundable pet fee.

A new beautiful heated salt water pool with patio, and swim up bench were installed in 2020.

Off-season owners use the pool when convenient for guest. Off season is May 15th to July 1st. July 1st through August 31st is guest use only. September 1st through October 15th is guests and owners. NOTE: owners work and are almost never at the pool. Our guests privacy is our utmost concern and if there are times off season that you prefer not share the pool we will certainly honor that.
