In sich geschlossene, luftig, Erdgeschoss-Wohnung. Selbstversorgung. Teil unserer Haushälfte am südlichen Rand der South Downs-Nationalpark, eine Meile von Goodwood, 4 von Chichester. Eigener Eingang, Terrasse + Möbel. Wintergarten. Parken.

Vineyard View ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge und den Besuch der vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung einschließlich der "Glorious" Goodwood mit seiner spektakulären Veranstaltungen: Festival of Speed ​​und die Wiederbelebung; Kulturchichester mit seinem Festivaltheater und Kunstgalerien; die friedliche South Downs-Nationalpark, und die Sandstrände der Küste von West Wittering.

Wir sind auf dem Chichester nach London Römerstraße Stane Street (A285), im Dorf Halnaker am südlichen Rand des Nationalparks South Downs.
Halnaker ist eine Meile von Goodwood, 4 Meilen von Chichester, 60 Meilen von London und 30 Meilen von Brighton und Southampton.

Weekend Racing

Great location for a weekend racing at Goodwood, lovely and clean property that has everything you need for a few days relaxation and escape. Good footpaths around and easy to access with really good views across the vinyard. We will revisit. Cate was very helpful and easy to get in touch with during our stay.

Delightful Stay in Vineyard View Cottage

We enjoyed a lovely stay in the beautifully appointed self-contained cottage that Cate and her family shared with us. The decor was modern, stylish and had all the things one could need. Very centrally located to explore all the area has to offer- and there was lots of information to assist with this. Cate was very helpful and communicative, keeping in touch. Lovely quiet property in a lovely area!

The property was perfect for a short stay, it was close to a lot of things to do locally. It was very comfortable for relaxing and watching tv or watching the bats out the window. The bed was comfy and the shower nice and hot, what more can you ask for!! Something I really liked was the care and attention which had been given to the products used and available within the property which were all ethical and eco friendly, something you don't always see!! Lovely owner who checked in on us and made sure everything was OK.

Cool and Airy Apartment

A warm friendly welcome from Cate to her lovely ground floor apartment which had everything I needed for my stay. Airy and cool with a lovely view to the vineyard, perfect for this incredibly hot weather. Cate is there if needed but does not intrude in any way. I would definitely recommend staying at Vineyard View.

Great apartment in a great location.

We loved our stay. The appartment was spotlessly clean and cosy and had ecerything you could ask for. There are some lovely walks around and places of interest within a short drive.The owner was friendly, welcoming and always at hand but never intrusive. All in all, highly recommended.

Very comfortable stay in a great location

An absolutely delightful stay. The studio was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay. It's in a great location for exploring West Sussex, with easy access to the coast and the South Downs, as well as to many historic places such as Chichester and Arundel. Cate was a terrific hostess, who gave us a warm welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. Hope to return before too long!

Cosy, secluded and welcoming

Vineyard View absolutely lives up to its name, you look out onto rows of green luscious vines from the neighbouring vineyard. The apartment is ideally set up for two people (I went with my daughter, but would be lovely for couples). It is so comfy, clean and well equipped. We were blessed with fantastic weather and so took full advantage of the private, secluded shaded patio. Cate is so welcoming, friendly and helpful - the whole experience was just lovely. Absolutely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks at Vineyard View in Sussex. Great location for walking, driving not far to wonderful National Trust properties - Nymans Garden, Standen House and Garden and Petworth House. Chichester was worth a visit and of course the nearby Roman ruins of Fishbourne Palace and Bignor Villa. Boxgrove village a handy walk for coffee and basic supplies at Boxies. Tinwood vineyard also worth a visit and very local. Local hotel has great garden to enjoy a drink and the Goodwood Hotel, about a mile away, has excellent food at very reasonable prices - set three course lunch for £20! So thank you Cate and Fred for your hospitality and help especially with directions to the Halnaker windmill! Lyn and Algis from Adelaide

Perfect base to explore the area!

This was an ideal last minute break for my partner and I. The accommodation suited us perfectly and turned out to be a more ideal location than first anticipated. We visited Bognor Regis, Chichester harbour, West wittering, Arundel and Goodwood! All within appx 20 mins (Goodwood less than 10!), including the Bank Hol traffic. So much to see in the area and our only regret was not having longer. Thank you to our hosts for being so accommodating. We will return in the near future I’m sure

Wonderful time at Vineyard Views

Vineyard Views is fully equipped for self catering when you have special dietary requirements. I had a wonderful time catching the bus to Chichester, driving to The trundle and The village of Petworth on the South Downs, driving to Arundel Castle, Felpham and beaches in the area. I also enjoyed a few walks down walking paths from the accommodation. Cate was a discreet but attentive and helpful host and I would recommend this comfortable and restful accommodation to people like me, who need to self cater. Vineyard Views had everything that I required and more.

A Little Gem

Cate couldn't have been more friendly and helpful It was nice and put us at our ease. The Annexe is lovely and clean and has everything you need and more, alot of thought has been put in to this, just so many nice little extra's. The courtyard garden is a delight it was really hot when we were there and so nice to sit out in. A step through the garden and you are at the pub next door where there is the most delicious food, hopefully we will be back next year !!!! A really central place to stayChichester minutes down the road and the racing at Goodwood 5 minutes away.

A beautifully presented property in a lovely location

We stayed at Vineyard View for two nights after travelling in the UK for 5 weeks. We were delighted with the property which was exactly as described on the website. It was beautifully presented, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Cate and Fred were very welcoming and helpful. We are an older couple and we were happy that it was single level with car parking at the door and the fact that it was in the pretty little village of Halnaker not far from Chichester suited us perfectly. There was lots to do and see around Chichester which is a really lovely city. It is in a perfect position for anyone wanting to visit Goodwood. For us it was a perfect end to our holiday as we were able to relax before setting off to Heathrow for the long flight back to Australia. Thank you Cate and Fred.

Lovely weekend at Vineyard View

We had a lovely stay at Vineyard View. We really appreciated the attention to detail in the apartment and how clean it was. It was lovely to have an outdoor space with table and chairs to relax in as well as the apartment itself. It is within easy access of Chichester itself, the coast and beautiful countryside. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the apartment and would love to visit again.
