Spacious Light Filled Condo
Condo is very spacious and light filled - much bigger than it looks in pictures! Decorated really cute with plenty of kitchen necessities. Very large kitchen dining area with plenty of seating at table and island. Living room is very comfortable with two sofas and a couple of chairs, large TV. Lots of light and windows and a small view of beach from balcony. The blind situation is horrible. We couldn't shut the balcony blinds as most were missing. A few were laying on the ground when we came in, but we were able to put them back up. A few of the other blinds in the living room were also missing a panel or two but they weren't as bad as the living room balcony ones. The master bedroom blinds were great! We only used master bedroom and bed was a bit soft for us but certainly comfortable. Master bathroom is spacious with vanity and closets separate from tub shower and toilet. Lots of space! Master bathroom could use some updating as closet doors are hard to push open and closed due to rust on bottom door guides. Some wire shelving in closet is coming loose from wall. Master bathroom shower could use a deep clean in the grout but nothing that bothered us. Second bathroom by 2nd bedroom is updated nicely. The chair and umbrella service is great and is why we picked this complex. It's a short walk to the beach which is absolutely beautiful with white sand. We loved the location and quickly found our way around Miramar and Destin plus the beaches east of Miramar. A great area and we absolutely would come back!
A couple of things lacking but definitely not deal breakers: there is no blow dryer which is not a big deal but I have never stayed in a condo without one. I went to WalMart and bought a cheap dryer to use while we were there. Also, no hangers - not one! We traveled by car and had all our hanging clothes on hangers but if we had traveled by air, hangers would have had to been bought. Plenty of shelf and drawer space for folded clothes though. No dish rack for drying dishes when you don't want to use dishwasher for one or two items used daily. Not one lightbulb worked outside - it's very dark trying to see your keyless entry and we had to use our phone light. Also, balcony light didn't work. There were no extra light bulbs for us to replace ourselves and didn't feel like it warranted a phone call.
We had a great 10 days and enjoyed the condo very much!
