We've upgraded to Starlink Satellite Internet.

While there is no smoking in the room, if you are sensitive to smoke, I recommend that you reserve rooms 7-11. Private motel room with your own private entrance and bathroom. Explore the Eastern Sierras using The Historic West Walker Motel as your base. Numerous outdoor activities available include swimming crystal clear waters, bathing in hot springs, fishing, rafting ++.

Located in the eastern foothills of the Sierra Mountains, BBQ , free WiFi, Streaming TV and parking for all size vehicles. Walk across the street to Mntn View BBQ, enjoy breakfast at Sweet Water Cafe, or grab a burger at Walker Burger!

Rooms include a coffee machine. Select rooms include a kitchenette with cutlery. A microwave and a refrigerator.

This is an 11 room motel. Ask up about our adjoining rooms, family bunk suites, or one-bedrooms suites.

This Historic Motel is run as a boutique AirBnB with keypads for self-check-in and cleaning staff.

For any inquiries or assistance during your stay, our on-site managers are readily available at the house in front of the motel. We encourage you to connect with them for immediate support.

In addition to the stated cancellation policy, any credit/debit card processing fees will be deducted from the cancellation refund if a credit/debit card is used, generally around 3%.

Comfortable bed and the place looks so nicely remodeled

This was a perfect place to stay after getting off the PCT and needing a place to rest for a few days. The bed was SO comfortable and the place looks so nicely remodeled. Very cute spot and a short walk to the general store, BBQ place and Walker Burger. Being able to use a washer dryer was also amazing!!

Cosy room, perfect for an overnight road trip stop. The room was clean, easy to access and safe. Only recommendation would be to possibly add a hairdryer in the room. Very responsive and friendly host. Would definitely recommend this room and book it again.

Good place to stay. Covers the basic needs

Good place to stay. It's small but priced well and it covers the basic needs. The biggest issue was lack of closet space, hooks, or shelves. You need to live out of your suitcase, which will be taking up floor space and you'll need to walk around or step over, which is a manageable problem considering the value. I would stay here again.

Work in Progress

When my wife and I stayed it appears that they were in the process of updating and renovating this entire motel. The interior of our room had already been updated with fresh paint, new fixtures, floors, bed, bed stands, flat screen tv and a remodeled bathroom. Now It didn't mention it in the listing but I believe that the bathroom floors were heated which was a pleasant surprise. The area is very lovely if you enjoy natural picturesque views, fishing and scenic drives as we do and we are definitely interested in revisiting this area in the future. Now having said that our stay was not without its issues and there is definitely some room for improvement. My wife found it odd that there was no hair dryer in the bathroom so if you have need of one be prepared to bring your own. But by far the biggest issue we had was a very strong cigarette smell in the room which after 2 days of trying to air out never really left. This room, and everything in it, needs to be professionally deodorized. As a side note, having some sort of ventilation or fan may have helped with the smell but would not have gotten rid of it completely. I did attempt to reach out to the management via email as it was very late when we arrived but still have not received a response. Overall we enjoyed the area and I hope that this information helps them in their efforts to renovate and improve this nostalgic and cute roadside motel for future guests.
