Spectacular View of Grandfather Mountain!

Spectacular views of Grandfather Mountain are part of this centrally located one bedroom condo on Seven Devils. Enjoy the magnificent views from both your living room or outside on the treetop level balcony. A thermostatically controlled gas fireplace provides warmth and a cozy atmosphere. Enjoy cool summer mountain air with an elevation roughly 700 feet higher than Boone. We also have A/C for the occasional warm summer afternoon. Top of Seven has sleeping accommodations for up to four people. The bedroom has a queen size bed. A comfortable pull out sofa is in the living room.

Snow tubing and zip lines at Hawksnest are just a short five-minute drive away. Community tennis courts are even closer. This condo is centrally located between Boone, Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, Linville and Blowing Rock. Appalachian State University is less than 20 minutes away, so book a stay with a view for those home football games! Additional nearby seasonal activities include biking and hiking trails, white water rafting, skiing at Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain, the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games in July, wine tasting at Grandfather Vineyards, and a great public golf course at Sugar Mountain. Take advantage of your central location by exploring the local shops and restaurants that line the streets of the High Country towns of Blowing Rock and Boone. You don't want to miss out on the eclectic merchandise at the Mast General Store in nearby Valle Crucis.

The Mountain View is wonderful. We enjoyed time on the porch gazing at the mountains. The home was clean. The air conditioning did not work well. Some better bed pillows would have made us more comfortable .There was a problem with check in, but fortunately the owner was quick to respond with accurate information

Nice Quiet Stay in Beautiful Area

The host was very helpful with our check-in and in providing information for places to eat and places to visit. Really enjoyed the condo and the fairly secluded location.

Great location, affordable and close to everything

Thanksgiving in the mountains! This condo was the perfect size and had all that we needed. Actually was able to make Thanksgiving dinner - bought the turkey though- for my App State kiddo and friend! Easy access and had all that I needed! Would stay again and great view of the mountains after a light snow!

Nice Mountain Getaway

Very nice condo with everything we needed for our stay. A/C didn't work great but it wasn't super hot so it was no big deal.One suggestion that I would make is to write down all your key code entry information before you arrive. We had no cell service so we didn't know the door entry code. We walked around in the parking lot until we got 1 bar of service and then had our entry code.

Lovely mountain hideaway

We wanted to escape for a few days to the NC mountains and this place was perfect. The condo is clean, cozy and affords a great view of the Grandfather Mountain. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a few meals with the food we brought. John quickly replied and assisted us when we needed it. The only drawback was the very twisty road up the mountain - a steep ascent for someone like me who is unused to driving mountainous terrain! Otherwise, a perfectly enjoyable place to stay within a few minutes of picturesque Boone and Blowing Rock. Highly recommend!

John, the owner is very responsive! Easy check-in, kitchen fully equipped and the view of Grandfather Mtn really made it! It was a little chilly for August, so we were able to make use of the gas fire logs. Lovely unit with just the right amount of space. Will book again!

Great retreat

A perfect place for 2 to get away and relax. Quiet and close to anything in the area with a great view off the balcony. Heed the warnings of the listing with the hill. Very steep hill to get to the condo but a well taken care of road

Comfortable Stay!

We stayed in the area so our son could see real snow for the first time. This property was the perfect location! We were a short distance away from Beech Mountain (about 25 minutes) and our last day of the stay, when it rained and we couldn't revisit the mountain, we were a short distance away from local attractions. The property had everything we needed and was the perfect amount of space for the three of us. Check-in was easy and the property owner was easy to communicate with. The balcony had absolutely gorgeous views. As a sidenote, we enjoyed visiting Mystery Hill which was about a 20 minute drive from the property. Lots of activities to try out for both adults and younger children.

A Great Snow Adventure

We had a great time staying here. The pictures are a true representation of the condo. Our host John was awesome. He messaged me the day before we were to arrive about the weather conditions that were being predicted and information regarding traveling on the road leading up to the condo. During our stay 12 plus inches of snow fell. John stayed in contact with us during our stay and even was able to update us that if we needed to stay another night the condo would be available. I look forward to visiting again.

Anniversary getaway

Great place to stay, very quiet and peaceful area. Awesome views from the deck of the mountains as well as assorted wild life, such as Deer, chipmunk, and various birds. Property is centrally located between Boone and Grandfather Mountain. We will be back.
