My wife and I enjoy a quiet cabin in the woods and this one delivered for our week-long stay. Our favorite items were the really hot water (much appreciated after a day of hiking) and the fireplace (but bring your own lighter).
Upon arrival, we did find water pooled in front on the fridge. The owner's rep was VERY responsive and showed up almost immediately and quickly returned with a mini-fridge in case the leaking continued or it didn't stay cold (which it did). We also asked for a couple more items the next day (extra blanket and a baking/cookie sheet, for example) and he delivered.
In spite of his responsiveness, I've got to limit this rating to 4 stars because of the minimal items in the kitchen. If you plan on eating out a lot, then this won't be a problem and you'll have a 5 star experience. However, a lack of basics like a cutting board, a second dish towel, a mixing bowl, measuring cups/spoons, a colander, serving utensils, and even a can opener had us improvising. There are literally two dinner plates, two small plates, two bowls, two glasses and mugs, two dinner and salad forks, two knives, two spoons, a couple of sharp knives, two small pots, a small frying pan, a pizza cutter, and a coffee maker. Again, if this is all you'll need, then you won't have a problem. Otherwise, you'll want to add these missing items to your packing list.
Thanks to previous guests' reviews, we did take extra pillows as well as a couple of folding camp chairs for the porch. As noted in the listing, the well water is fine for bathing and washing dishes, but you'll want to bring your own water for drinking and cooking.
